Thank you very much for this very useful information. I know about the bulb offered on ebay, but wanted to see if there were also some people here who has this species and might have some for sale now or in the future. Because it's quite an expensive species and I trust the people on this forum a bit better then just somebody on ebay with a inflorescence picture from IAS.

I read in the Internet it was pretty easy to grow and that they made offsets quite regularly. I have a small greenhouse (for now, I have access to a bigger one, but it's unheated and because of that quite expensive), or in my dad's greenhouse is also possible. Was planning in growing most of them outside (northern part of the Netherlands) as soon as the come above the ground. Have nice part in our garden, an open space between big oak trees. Funny thing is, I live next to a botanical garden

Difficult decision. Recently bought an old lithografie of this species because of it's beauty.

Why are they so addictive. It's not because they're all small like Asclepiads

I will look it up, don't know exactly where I read it, but I will find it again. Thank you very much also for giving info about the seller, not everybody on the Internet can be trusted. But then I guess the price is also right for this species. Think I will message him also for a bit of extra info about this plant.

I have been searching for more info, but couldn't find the page where I read A. aphyllus was an easy to grow species. But I talked to the seller/Chris and he told me it wasn't the easiest species. They need a well drained soil and a warm place, they don't need heat above 30 celsius degrees. They make maybe 1-2 offsets every year if they like their growing conditions.
