Amorphophallus gigas

Hello

my A.gigas had moved recently.

Because it is similar to unberechnebare such as A.titanum one is art and Aroidena is recommended to keep the plant in the substrate,
had I planted again it after cleansing after weighing.

And behold: the just formed new tuber (Erntegwicht 135 g) is driving again in full madness!

My A. gigas to download immediately drove through.
New feed is already 8 cm above the Earth's surface.
The plant is also out there.
Should drop the temperatures against late summer I bring them together with the decus-silvae certainly as the first purely.

My gigas is already 5 cm high and we can already see the new paper. The bract is beautifully marbled. So white with black spots. I find so immensely attractive.

Very nice!

Gigas is also good to keep in contrast to the types Hewitii and Labii.

My 2 have risen well last year.

Applies here as in Titanum: only not sprayed, ansosnten she fault you quickly away.

Hi together,
the hand of my gigas is now entirely open and it looks simply gorgeous. The root is beautifully white black with small green score speckled. The leaf is beautifully shiny. The plant looks really kerngesund.

Today, I could reap my largest gigas tuber.
I have amazed not bad, the stock of the 25.9.06 of 65 g
taken to the 4.6.07 to 600 g, and she sat but really at the bottom in the pot in the drainage layer even though I have planted in the center of the pot.

Meine A. gigas

Hi, my A.gigas has decided to cast out again shortly after docking. I had given her new right after the withering from substrate. It is incredible, but the plant seems to know no rest period. The size seems to be able to keep up with the above Corm.
Images follow as soon as it is once again above ground.

Re: Amorphophallus gigas

Hi Daniel,.

first a warm welcome! Since you have purchased already a few nice species you. I own my am. Gigas unfortunately not more, and also the other tropical species, which I could call until a few years ago my own me unfortunately received. At that time, you could purchase Amorphophallus semen load. The operator of the site, Frank seven list is his name, had rarities on offer at ware. Unfortunately, he has no Amorphophallus more on offer. Best is you apply yourself to various private collectors, or look on eBay in times. For my part, I limit myself now rather on the smaller species that you can easily move to the flower.

Re: Amorphophallus gigas

Hi Dominic,.

nice to read, what you report because this shows that it is apparently well your Pflnaze.
As a plug, have the big Titanenwurze how gigas, titanum etc. quite at the same time several leaves.
The respectively oldest die off then but generally before the younger and irgandwann goes the plant completely in peace and quiet that warm (!) and slightly damp should be made at the major Indonesian Titans; But you know that all...
You can classify the second sheet so as absolutely positive.
Good luck with your Amorphophallus!

Happy growing, Bernhard.
