Hello Botanicus,

unfortunately I see your request only today, in the last few months I was not really communicative and just not properly in the forum.

What happened to your Arisaemas? Both species sprout relatively early.
Here at the Arisaema contributions there were already some tips, e.B. take deep pots, humous soil, made airy with granules, etc.
Did you plant the tuber of Arisaema speciosum lying down (important)?
Did you take pictures of the tubers, and did they bloom this summer?
I would like to answer you further questions, if you have any, and of course as far as I know something about it,

Hi Ada, I've only seen your answer now!
Both Arisaema looked good in the spring, especially the speciosum was a beautiful, large strong tuber.
Unfortunately, I had PLANTED them NATURALLY VERTICALLY, which then apparently led to rotting. Too bad, I had been looking forward to a flower so much and also mixed perlite into the substrate to prevent just a rotting.

The Arisaema nepenthes shoots/drives white roots, but does not want to grow a shoot. No idea why.
I had planted them about .8cm deep and recently dug away some soil to let some light to the tuber in the hope that something else would happen. The summer is not very warm this year...
No idea what the problem is, maybe she will be drifting next spring?
I will definitely try to get hold of more tubers and try again next year with the A.speciosum or other suitable species.
