OT tropische blaue Seerose

Hello everyone

I can offer a few tubers of the tropical water lily Nymphea 'Director George T. Moore'. Is not an aronstick plant but since they are too bad for me for the ton I offer them here.
The first photo shows my two mother tubers at the top and the tubers at the bottom that I can leave. The other photos show flowers from last year. All tubers are able to flower!
The culture is actually quite simple, if someone has any questions about it, he can write to me gladly.

Also in exchange for amorphophallus nodules.

Regards
Lukas

Hello Luke,

Very pretty. I take care of tropical water lilies myself, but unfortunately I haven't quite got out of the way with the hibernation...

I can't offer you amorphophallus, but seeds from the devil's claws Ibicella and Proboscidea.

By the way, I have so many of them that I can offer to several. Are simple yet spectacular one-year-old plants. If you are interested, just send a message, best to Ralfmoessle3@gmail.com. Bernhard would certainly be happy to receive a donation to the maintenance of the forum...

Greetings, Ralf

Hello Ralf!
The art of wintering lies in getting the plants to form a tuber. Once you have managed to do this, not too much can go wrong, because from this tuber drives at least one new plant year after year, which can also be separated from the tuber. It should even be possible to winter the tubers damp in the refrigerator, but I have not tried that yet.

Interesting offer, I'll write you a mail afterwards.

Regards
Lukas

If I had a pond available now...

Hello Michael!
You don't need a pond for that. On the contrary, "small" containers e.B. mortar glues are even more suitable because the water temperature rises faster there. I keep them in half a wine barrel, just for the look.

Lukas

Thank you Lukas, but also for a mortar bucket my living room has no more space. Don't have a bearing yet on how to place my amorphophallus.
Unfortunately, I have to make do with your pictures! Although they are simply beautiful.
Best regards,
Michael

One tuber is still left.

Hi Michael,

I would like to help you with your space problem, and remove your amorphophallus, but I would probably not be a suitable caregiver. But maybe it will be with the stinkers and me.

Best regards Ralf

Hello Ralf,

A few I will give up again this year, but with the trips last year there are less. But maybe I give a few of my backup tubers, which would also be rarer and large tubers. But that doesn't solve my space problem, but minimizes it... That's all I give away!

Best regards,
Michael
