as far as I know, as a seller you always see only the current maximum bid, but not the maximum bid of bidders - at least not before they are outbid...

The example of Bidder A is not correct for my opinion, as the minimum price was not reached at €1.50; as far as I know, the item will not be sold if the minimum price is not reached... - but that is another issue...

To your guess - the seller can safely raise the price by offering from another account, for example up to a price he wants to achieve at least. But if that is higher than the maximum bid set by the bidder, the shot naturally backfires; as I said, I do not think that as a seller you see the maximum bid of bidders.
At least I didn't notice that in my offers; you can only see which of the commandments are automatic; but you can also see that as a bidder.

I can confirm what Bernhard said; I have never found a highest bid either as a seller or as a buyer (although sometimes you would like to know).
