Hello Bernhard,

A few times I tried to put a number of pictures in the forum, but had to give it up because some pictures only appear as links. The pictures do not actually differ in shape and size. To see the picture you have to click on the link, I don't really want that. The overall view remains gone.

Here's an example of what I mean:

Do you have an explanation for why this happens?

If the problem is of general interest, I can also put the question on the forum.

The problem is the image size or maybe only the length of an image page.

Images must have < 300 KB for them to be set at all; this was also the case with Olvis's original paintings.

Stephan (Shreck) noticed, however, that Olvis images had a page length of 4000 pixels in part, and he remembered that the forum software specifies a maximum page length; if the is exceeded, only one link is displayed in the post.
(Shreck created the forum including the forum software and its settings a long time ago and made various settings in the forum software).

After Stephan changed the largest page length of Olvis images to 1200 pixels with IrfanView, all images were displayed in the post.

So:
Reduce images with IrfanView or another tool to < 300 KB (I either set the size to < 295 KB in the batch conversion at IrfanView or set the size to 33% of the original size in the special options - that usually goes...)

or do it like Stephan:
"I always drive quite well with the side length of 1200 or 2400 pixels on the longest page."
