A. yunnanensis

The yunnanensis of Tom is just drifting. Looks like it's going to be a flower. A thickening is noticeable on the shoot. Basically, this started in January with a swollen bud in the winter camp, which is about 8 °C warm. When the shoot was larger than the crater in the tuber deep, I brought the tuber into the warm. Growth has accelerated. But the real boost was only in the last few days.

Hello mist beetles,

that looks promising.
How big is the tuber?

Happy growing, Bernhard.

Great, congratulations!
Would be great if you could pollinate them, yunnanensis gets I think blue berries.

Yesterday at noon she had already dropped pollen and there was nothing to smell all the time. I don't want to rule out that I've slept through the stink phase, but shouldn't it still be smellable in the apartment?

Hello mist beetles,

So, when one of my verticilliatus bloomed hidden in the conservatory recently, I could smell it on the first floor after I opened the bedroom door...

Whether yunnanensis actually "smells little", I don't know....

Happy blooming, Bernhard.

Thomas, actually you can hardly "over-smell" the flowers, because the smell slowly swells on and off again, if yunnanensis does not smell, that would be a way for the living room!
Bernhard, verticillatus smells strong, but I don't find the smell unpleasant, it may even stop in the living room...

She's standing here in the living room and I didn't smell anything, for whatever reason.

In the hallway by the window, a horsfieldii pushes a flower. The tuber wasn't even that big. Also, thanks to the re-used earth, there is also a second horsfieldii and not only there.

Well then, have fun - you'll hardly overwhelm them... ;-)

Happy sniffing, Bernhard.

That's why she's going to get a temporary place.

Can I understand well!
My flowers also sometimes have to be quarantined...

Crap, now I had missed the right time. When I walked out to the door this morning, it smelled in the hallway as if the floor inlet in the heating room had to be filled with water again. It wasn't the Gulli at all. The Horsfieldii is now in my living room and I don't even notice the scent anymore. With Ochroleucus and Venosum, on the other hand, hiding does not work at all.

Wow, Thomas, Horsfieldii in the living room, that sounds like an atomic bomb! Wouldn't have thought you could "overwhelm" them...
