Ernte 2020

This year, the inherited one starts as early as February. Last year it was only in May.

I harvested A. henryi today. Last year it only drifted out in mid-August and the days took the leaves. The result was 3 tubers with 19, 14 and 2 g. In total, unfortunately, a slight decrease compared to the last harvest.

It's just crazy. As it stands, the henryis want to expel again. I'm not quite sure yet, but I would actually be happy if they behaved normally this year.

New game, new luck! The shifted shoot times always make the tubers shrink slightly for me...

On. glaucophyllus

The insignificant increase (on 6.1.2019 138 grams, today 144 Gram) I just put on the flower in August/September:icon_rolleyesnew:

Flowering in August September?
Even one who doesn't want to follow any rules?...

Rules? There is only one thing: they do what they want. And that is being respected.

With me, a glossophyllus is just beginning to move in...

Hey Michael:D

Yes, do what they want. As long as they gain well, they can do whatever they want;)

Servus Sonja,
nice to hear from you!
But if they do it in such a way that they are in the paper over the winter, then unfortunately they have no chance of growth with me...

Hello mist beetles,

hmmm, shouldn't they actually grow now???

Happy growing, Bernhard.

They were planted last year in early/mid summer and did not move in in winter. I had harvested the operculatus in mid-May last year and that was the lower part of the tuber. The upper part still has its 2nd sheet. The Atroviridis is the one with spotted stem from you. My other atroviridis with monochrome stem shows the same behavior and is still in the paper.

It's great that the broken part of the operculatus made such a nice lump!
atroviridis has also increased :-)

Happy growing, Bernhard.

Yes, however, the newly formed tuber is smaller than the old tuber piece, which is not even partially used up. It's pretty firm and hardly smudgy. This is probably due to the fact that the leaf for the tuber size was unexpectedly small and fine-grained and there was also no 2nd leaf. The leaf was hardly bigger than the first of the 1cm tuber I had received from you.

This is where the harvest started this week with consimilis. It was only extremely short in the leaf, but has been able to recover the loss due to the flower and has 183 g.

Nothing with broken, that was the knife.

The operculatus from the upper section has now also been harvested: a 16 cm long and 39 g heavy tuber came to light. The upper end with the bud has about 2 x 2.5 cm, the lower sedated end (reached because of pot bottom), is not quite as strong.

Hello mist beetles,

a flawless lump !

I also know enough about operculatus with the sprained lower end because of the pot bottom; only animal-fer-fer pots help.
In addition, I put a fleece on the extractor holes in the pots with such species below, so that the tuber does not grow through the pot; this is otherwise easy and you can then only cancel the piece when repotting or harvesting.

Happy growing, Bernhard.
