Soon you can repeat this with the giraffe knee... ;-)
Unfortunately, this will not happen so quickly. At the moment the plant is still too small for me to harvest cuttings. Therefore, for the time being, only one more image of the first Zamioculcas-Steckling. The second one is not yet happening. The first own sheet is still waiting. But now the last leafless tuber, which was used in summer 2019 during repotting and splitting, seems to be seriously driving. The propelled tip had been on the earth's surface for a few months, but nothing happened.

The second one is not yet happening.
A day later, a shoot is promptly seen from the earth. I probably have to paint the devil on the wall more often.

Hello mist beetles,

it goes ahead !

Regarding the repetition with the giraffe knee - you don't have to take a leaf stalk; leaves are enough and from time to time one breaks off when you turn the plant around or turn it over.....

Happy propagating, Bernhard.

So far nothing has broken off and I didn't really want to take a complete leaf there, but already a little more than a single tiny leaflet.

Hello mist beetles,

Fiederblättchen break off already; too bad to compost them; I put them in a small pot with substrate - many make roots and then make a little lump...

Happy propagating, Bernhard.

If something breaks off for me, I will take the opportunity. Only at the moment it is more important to me that the existing plant grows than to renounce growth in favor of propagation. At the moment, it is not really the case that a multiplication attempt is the only chance to save something.

After the pot of the 2nd cutting was strongly oval, stronger than that of the first and that despite fewer leaves or leaf area, I repotted it today. 2 new shoots have been visible above the earth for some time. When repotting, 3 more came to light.

Well, the tubers get thick relatively quickly in Zamioculas.
At Gonatopuas angustus this spring I was also very surprised how thick the tubers had become... unknown dwarf

Happy growing, Bernhard.

Yes, there seems to be nothing happening for half a year, three quarters of a year or more and then you suddenly realize that the pots or buckets are oval or dented or even blown up (4th picture in the article).

Now the plant from the first cutting is also repotted for the second time. The pot had been oval and dented for a long time and I didn't want to wait for it to be blown up. In addition, I would have had to make sure that I could water properly again. Removing some soil from the surface would not have been able to delay repotting for long and would have exposed the tubers.

Actually, the new pot is already too small. I would have wanted to pot them a little deeper again, so that the tubers are not exposed so quickly. To do this, however, it would have had to have at least one size larger or another shape (higher and not so strongly conical). Which, however, would have meant a larger volume of soil, which also keeps the moisture longer.

Happy growing, Bernhard.

Even the blade used for the cuttings is still on it.
