Arisaema taiwanensis

Hello everyone

Arisaema taiwanense, as the name suggests, comes from Taiwan, and is therefore not necessarily hardy.
She is an exceptionally beautiful Arisaema, with a special flower and very beautiful foliage. The furry piston is well hidden by the envelope, and I could only photograph it in the low sun, otherwise it was too much in the shade. This summer I had already shown one or two pictures of these flowers under "Flowers 2019", but here comes the whole development.

So I'm certainly not going to plant this Arisaema in the garden, which is now coming nicely into the cellar, in the pot. Hopefully it will come back next year. It was great that I only got the tuber this year, and it bloomed right away.

Does the brood-nodules?
If so, you could take a winter hardness test in time.

on the first one you can see the fully unfolded leaf, which acts like a parasol for flowering, fantastic,
and for the second photo I pulled up the lid with my hand just before flowering, and photographed the flower openly, for documentation.

Hello everyone

the title of this post is unfortunately wrong, I had made a mistake at the time - it should be called "Arisaema taiwanensis". I also fall for it again and again, Arisaema is not feminine despite the ending with "a", but a neuter.

Apart from that, my Arisaema taiwanensis has a really big fat shoot this year:
