I don't think an increased salinity is a big problem for amorphophallus. The Swede had a very useful one with a very low value, but they have nonsensically taken this out of the assortment.

The myosuroides reacted quite sensitively to submixed coconut soil last year. They have grown extremely slowly and have taken ages to unfold the leaves. All signs that I could also observe in plants with root damage. In the case of myos, the cause may have been only the high salinity of the coconut soil. Especially since I have also seen similar symptoms in other plants with mixed coconut soil. Konjaks were also affected. Predominantly brood-tubers, the larger ones in the same pot, which also spread later than the small ones, were unimpressed. However, I also had a problem with a large tuber.

Hello mist beetles,

the cokohum could be poured several times on flow before use; this should wash out existing salt...
If available, a conductivity meter could be used to check whether the conductivity or salinity is decreasing.
