Amorphophallus bulbifer treibt aus

Here, the growing tip of the Earth's surface has broken through at the weekend at the larger (⌀ 6 cm, 54 g) my two remote trauma tubers. The second bulb has about 3 cm in front of himself. Both are currently in the room on the hood of the Aquarium.

Really smaller than the smaller of the two plants (leaf just under 40 cm high, 30 cm in diameter)? It has clearly not received enough light.

In the meantime, both Bulbiferhave have long since moved in. The bigger one, unfortunately, far too soon. After drying well, it weighs 3 grams less than before planting, at 51 g. :-(

For the smaller ones, however, this looks better. Even if the second leaf has not lived too long, the tuber of the smaller one is larger and heavier (61 g, 6 cm in diameter) and has more than tripled its weight. This restores the original size and weight ratio.
