Honestly, I'm fighting already powerfully with me. Verticilliatus and gigas, maybe even impressus and longituberosus... but still I can't get out of the rotation with the storage of the tuber. And I want to lose hate even more rarities...

Greetings Ralf

... gigas is not stored, but cultivated.... ;)

Amorphophallus soil/dormancy list / Substrate / Storage conditions / Rest period

The species is also not so difficult, as long as it is warm enough (living room or >equal to 20 °)

Happy growing, Bernhard.

Hello Ralf,

impressus and longituberosus are not really difficult to simply store dry. Verticillatus is evergreen and therefore does not have to be stored at all, which just runs with me so side by side and does not need gsD much light either. Gigas has a beautiful pedigree, which comes originally from Bernhard.
Bernhard, this is one of your gigas that has split.

Hi Michael,.

I'm glad to read that... I think it then yes one by 2015; I had sent 6 small vegetatively propagated (I assume); is this possibly one of 6 very small plants, instead of one that has divided?

How big is that because in the meantime?

Happy growing, Bernhard.

Hi Bernard,.
With your 6 gigas (may 2015) I've got joy, really is a great way. Only one did not really grow, the remaining 5 grow insanely good, one has become divided, where a part is now at Timo in the BoGa Bochum, a part is still in the journal, here I offer the third tuber of part of and has 26 gr.
Gigas is a very joyful to growth and to maintain good really.
Have you ever had a blooming?
Love greetings
Michael

Hi Michael,.

class that you have done well.
And Yes, it happens sometimes that my case of vegetatively propagated gigas share, as long as they are still relatively small.
Later conduct it in accordance with art - gigas has yes no Cormels and splits Yes actually not...

Then your can show Yes her 4 small clone siblings in Bochum, how big they are time - I had sent Timo also recently 4... :icon_winkgrin:

No, I brought even its own not to bloom; the living room and winter garden conditions are then too bad.
In the Hill Garden, my clone has it then better: Amorphophallus gigas

Happy growing, Bernhard.

Hello Bernhard,
what is not already in the leaf of tropical species is just expelled, this is going to be a real green hell here; Unfortunately, the light situations are very different and the tubers, although of the same age, vary greatly in size. I'm curious about what this summer will produce...
But I suspect that Timo will outdo me in growth.
Yes, I can remember the flower pictures from the mansion, from the size gigas would have to be made there already, but how to protect oneself from the smell with the flower size, I do not know yet.
Greetings
Michael
