I see it the same way. Nor do I believe that eggshells contribute so much to structural improvement; and as for the lime, I put a drainage layer of lime or marble sliver into the pots, except for species that do not like lime.

PS: Instead of eggshells, some also take oyster shells... doesn't taste bad either!
