Muelleri, variabilis und borneensis aus Samen

Hello everyone.

Wanted to report times my results of the above types. Seeds came early December 2017 from Indonesia.
(I can still nix report of titanum, which will not move so quickly still. However, they now all are well over one meter high)
To the they all sprout came in Seramis in the terrarium at about 27 degrees of floor heating. Right after germination - that except for borneensis Mohammad REDA by outfit went, were they also with 1ml / l Wuxal fertilized at each pour.
Become quickly too large for the small pots, I have repotted it. And I did so for all seedlings that I have drawn so far. They say they like it not in the growth to be realized - I had no problems. On the contrary.
I used only Seramis - borneensis and titanum and this gave mycorrhizal. Attempts at muelleri and variabilis other mixtures. I could but no significant difference in growth - what the substrate angeht-firmly set, but pot sizes. Variabilis who sat in small pots, were not as large as their counterparts with more space.
Occasionally they got also seaweed fertilizer. I am all in all very pleased with the results. Especially at the titan who tower over their 3-year-old kind now almost:D

Beautiful evening;)

Hi Sonja,.

impressive results!
Will you grow in Seramis?
I came off of it again, was very enthusiastic when tightening, but at bigger tuberous gabs then yet more problems.

SERVUS!

The tropical species anyway. And seedling rearing with security :D

I find super BB´s because the wintering — previously BB´s with Seramis were never problems - and also with regard to nematodes, an unbeatable advantage. Sciaridae eliminated as well.

A part cultivated further determined even in "normal" substrate, in konjac BB´s would not invade me in the dream to put in Seramis, irgendow BB´s is also too expensive. On the other hand you can use again and you will find also the smallest bulb is:D
Because we are grad at klein - myosuroides's has not so comfortable - but had the lice and I've noticed too late BB´s - shame on me...

When the fertilizer I have to force me to stay consistent.

Show the time BB´s wirds;)

Good Sunday to you all

Hi Sonja,.
Very interesting report. Will I even try, currently Titanums germinate in me, I want to put in different substrates.
Is the Seramis simply the fine-grained version, which is available in the hardware store? You do it before the first use Und...wie? You just rinsing it, or quit a while in the water, so it swells up?
Where did you get the mushroom culture because? Interesting Ansatz...habe often of them read, and it is quite beneficial for sensitive species in Araceae... I would even try, but unfortunately don't know that.

Greetings Ralf

Right John, the granules.
I flush out before something so that the fine dust is gone. It's immediately swells up.
Cast after will, whenever the first granules dry, so bright. In the resting phase at the tropical species I let dry the top layer, then BB´s is water again. And I'm also for the most part hydroponic pots. If not that, then clay pots.

Mycorrhizal are BB´s with us even in the hardware store.
There are also larger containers eg. in the eBay - but I haven't tried yet that.

...in hydro pots? There have to be really consistent; Casting and fertilization happens more times global after thumb doled me, since my tubers should learn to swim quickly.
When tightening seeds take I also Seramis, for the bigger tuberous gabs there but often root problems. which is why I don't know.
Don't worry about the myos...
Beautiful Sunday
Michael

Only the culture pots, no coasters. Too much water is thus actually impossible. The bright Seramiskörnchen show just too little. I find almost foolproof for the tropical species. So at least BB´s with me - fits so far;)

Hi Sonja,.

Thank you for the review and the images; all nice, but especially the images of seeds!

Did you do a Vregleich with and without Mycorrhizae possibly once?

Happy growing, Bernhard.

Thank you;)

I guess that it is better with mushroom. However should you run the tests over a period of time...
What is but definitely at titanum clearly noticeable - the quality of the seed (where it is not even necessarily comes BB´s to the size of the grain), as well as floor heat and fertilization from the germination ensure very good growth. The plants are now all over one metre high. When I see, what other breed from the same delivery out, ground heat helps, unfolded, considerable first leaf at least until the growth. Steady, highly diluted fertilizer gifts to and already you are huge:D

Hi Sonja,.
What do you know, strongly diluted o? My Amorphophallus received the week µS a 1500.
Love greetings

:icon_blushnew:was probably somewhat unhappy expressed:D

The seedlings get 0, 5ml / l, once the journal is open 1ml / l and later I fertilizer with 2ml / l - what is Wuxal. Rather irregularly, they get also seaweed fertilizer.

About the fertilization, it can fill Yes whole evenings - I for my part just BB´s as possible. Probably laugh experts grad :icon_confusednew:

Hi Michael,.

It says so in the first amount...

... Right after germination - that except for borneensis Mohammad REDA by outfit went, were they also with 1ml / l Wuxal fertilized at each pour...

You 1500µS of what fertilizer? Defines that?

Sonja, which composition has the Wuxal fertilizer or what name is used by friends?

Happy fertilizing, Bernhard.

UPS, sorry, Alzheimer's says hello...
I fertilize with Hakaphos blue 15 + 10 + 15 + 2 and Meyers Orchid fertilizer 20 + 5 + 10 + Spuris + bio regulators (what ever may be the too). Which I take is determined by desire and mood, there are at least once week 1500µS +-once to meet tap water (230 µS) in between.

I use super WUXAL - I hope you can see the composition on the screen;)

Hi Sonja,
I would be interested to know how it went on with the mentioned species (we have already seen a Titanum) especially with borneensis, since there are seeds to buy and I think about whether I can cultivate the species.

Hello Jonas!

I still have the borneensis. However, there was a blatant setback last year because part of the tuber was rotten. At the moment he has moved in. Slowly rebuilds the tuber. I find them harder to cultivate than Titanum. Had only kept this one, given the others away. As far as I know, unfortunately none of them are alive :( In fact, I only have pictures of the stem drawing. Maybe I'll find something in the unfathomable depths of the hard drive or in Facebook in old posts. From the size, it was no problem so far, but always zigged something... Currently I am waiting for 5 seeds to germinate. Unfortunately, they were quite long at customs - I hope they grab it...

Here are pictures from summer 22.

In front of the lemur is the borneensis...

Sorry the pictures are so small. Either too big or too small - I just can't adjust :icon_blushnew: them properly

Irfanview and instead of scaling the images down to thumbnail size (but that doesn't mean always using the original resolution), it makes more sense to limit the file size when saving. 285 kB has proven to be a practical value in order not to break the 300 kB file size limit.

So here again a little bigger.
And yet I don't like the image resizing, even if it is :icon_rolleyesnew: of course necessary

Have a nice Sunday :-D
