Titanum treibt 2. Blatt

Hello everyone
My Titanum, which is only sprouted a few weeks ago, is currently a 2nd sheet aus...das I do not know when such a young plant yet. With my konjacs the same. Already divided the nodules, or is this just an ordinary freak of nature.

Hi Ralf,.

Hello everyone.

My young plants all at titanum got only one sheet. A 2nd does not surprise me. However one pushes cycle now it in the 2nd 2 leaves...
Is it even in the 2nd form cycle before the 2 leaves, or divides the tuber?

in younger plants that also occurs in later Vegetaionsperioden; so, a second sheet in the 2 cycle should be no indication of a division of the Corm.
To do this, it should be quite large.

You can make smaller tubers but to share. You must destroy only the Central bud; then exorcise usually several new buds/sheets under which then a new Corm forms. Of course, risks that the tuber away then fault...
