Hello
I have overwintered tubers this year for the first time. I would like some questions: I now noticed that to a pretty dark color have adopted some tubers. They have become darker than at the beginning of the rest period and as the tubers, which are offered as on ebay, etc. Could the a mushroom be?
Unfortunately, I have currently no digital camera, I can only take a picture in a few weeks.
What surprises me stay, the whole tubers (also konjak and Typhonium venosum and giganteum, Arisaema) make to drive yet no move, if I so look at your tubers, which bloom all have long...
I am thinking now whether it may be that the tubers to cold had this winter? Is there something like a minimum temperature, which must not be lower than in winter? -I think I had read in 10 degrees, but are likely to endure in konjak etc significantly colder?
I don't know how cold it was in the basement, but we had 20 degrees this winter for a short time - out, since it can be that it was only slightly above the freezing point -, for a short time
Some tubers have woody, hollow bodies and have dried (Typhonium giganteum for example)
