Hi Christian,.
There are no stupid questions but (almost) or... ;-)
operculatus seeks the way down... ;-)
I had nodules that have grown through a trigger hole in the pot and then including did a little knubblige tuber often. I could only cancel. This is actually not a problem unless the breakage be kept absolutely dry.
If you give only gravel in the pot, I could imagine that the tuber nevertheless continues to grow down through the gravel layer; should you try but just.
If the bulb is not a trigger hole or below a Gewebevliess is inserted, it can look like:
index.php? page = attachment & attachmentID = 3845 index.php? page = attachment & attachmentID = 3846
I can be fine as a case, but I had also already tubers, which apparently were injured in contact with the bottom of the pot and then away are rotten from the bottom up.
If I remember correctly, the tubers grew in the two pictures in a 12-liter Mason bucket (...die cheapest pots the size...; that bloom in these buckets...).
Total is operculatus but simply rel in the culture.
Long tubers can horizontally pot and hope that several sleeping eyes, which exist along the whole tuber, exorcise and several independent tubers emerge.
People who like it more radically: long tubers into pieces cut and dry
very well let...
Happy growing, Bernhard
