Amorphophallus muelleri Wurzelbildung

Hello everyone!

The 4.12.17 were the seeds in pure Seramis - at approximately 23 degrees and additional lighting. Yesterday I've singled them - I think we can be satisfied with the root growth :D were also at first light fertiliser. What me but really surprised was the front runner with than 6 shoots. Let's bring back the fertilization? I'm still something closed down whether I should be happy about the many shoots with regard to the formation of tubers. Here are a few pictures. (I hät also like to be more added, but the small file sizes take me a little bit in the women and technology spin - and someone's woe whining grad - :icon_blush: )

Hi Sonja,.

very nice success ever. Because of multiple shoots, I would worry come me make, for one can successively shoots of a tuber when seedlings very quickly one after the other and then several sheets at the same time are available, which all but belong to a tuber forming. On the 4th picture, you can see well that the new drive out of the trunk of the old leaf grows.
If something splits six blades (also looks) then you've already won! ERGO: be happy! I don't know whether that may be due to the fertilization, überdüngt it doesn't look, then the roots had been damaged and they look good. I'm initially no fertiliser to stimulate root growth.

How are you satisfied with Seramis? I came off of it again.

Thanks MIchael:D

Because the Seramis - about, I can give any clear answers. It works quite well with the seeds. Where the muelleri which are available in other substrate, are similarly well educated. I have also been the resting phase in pure Seramis Titanum. But only one, try.
Why did you come back? I can imagine that there are problems, if one is careless to fertilize...

Hi Sonja,.

Usually a thick Cork layer has formed in Seramis around the tuber, occurred too often under the rot. Has led to a total loss, it is annoying. I guess that's also linked to my casting behavior that is probably not compatible with Seramis, because roots also have died from relapsing.

Good day together
The contribution of Sonja to the root formation in Seramis comes exactly at the right time. I hope I'm allowed
Seeds make up with my A.Konjac.
I had last year are two medium-sized tubers of A.Konjac in pure Seramis-.
Root formation was outstanding, the mass increase entäuschend. I would probably more in Seramis
need to fertilize.
Greeting
Klaus

I'll try BB´s this year with some tubers - when the fertilizing hät I Wuxal 1-2 ml to 1 liter of water keep in with every watering. Also admit I much like seaweed fertilizer and Comfrey Sud to strengthen (I took Comfrey only in konjac)

Beautiful evening yet ;-)
