Dracunculus Feuerwerk

After our great Dracunculus vulgaris tuber is broken last year while digging out in order to increase we expect not much for this year. To our surprise, a flower has pushed not only the ailing mother tuber, but also all severed Cormels in our front yard.
4 of which are today at the same time risen, making it very likely also a fruit set. Fireworks for the eye and the nose ;) it smells like a well hung compost bin :D are in any case us who look sure of passers-by.

Thanks Bernard!
As well the residential area is not a mining settlement in the Bochum South now also. But, it is nice.
Today, even 5 inflorescences were open at the same time. The 4 from yesterday have no longer smelled, 1 new smelled but just as strong as the 4 previously:D

Yes, that's important, that may have not enough sun. We have relaxed our front yard with lava and sand, which seems to please them well.

It looks really great. You have what twice a year from this plant.
There's a whole lot to sowing in autumn.

When my plants, it has enough only to a fruit stand. The heyday of the individual plants was too far apart.

Happy blooming, Bernhard.

I planted two tubers on the fence towards the neighbours in March/April.

When the two tubers drive out then I am looking forward to the faces of the :icon_winkgrin: :icon_winkgrin: :icon_winkgrin: :icon_winkgrin: :icon_winkgrin: :icon_winkgrin: :D :D :D :D :D :D neighbors.
