gelber Austrieb

One of my tuberous tries since about 2 months on a leaf.
The shoot is strange way grown completely yellow.
Light, there's enough in the window, so it should not be because.

I put the plant first warmer.

Does anyone know what it could be?

Hi tide flowers,.

What kind is it?
A tropical?
Then right on all cases is warmer.

Hell is relative in the winter...
A eburneus, which stands in the Hall about 2 m large West window, is also a new sheet that is not yellow, but is still very light green; This is my opinion on lack of light; just on covered days, it remains there very duster...

(UN) Happy growing, Bernhard.

I unfortunately don't know what kind it is.
At least narrow to gigas, bulbifer or paeoniifolius can I get it but I think.

Hi tide flowers,.

Think I was that times had reported that the coloring is very late in Seramis Phillip. I made the experience even when a lambii in Seramis (thread: Blue lambii), which trained only blue pigments, was long so white and blue before she got then green pigments.
Therefore I'd still worry me, even if it looks strangely.

Love greetings
Michael

Hello

This is so logical - the original purpose of Seramis is Yes to be a sterile, nutrients substrate. Without the appropriate nutrients, but consequently just little/late makes the plant chlorophyll and other hand dyes and tends to reduced growth or very slow, tuberous growth if not declining. This is also the reason why Araceenknollen in Seramis develop a kind of leathery korkige outer shell, while they do not in normal, fine agitate drain substrate. With wrong conditions that in my view has nothing to do (except maybe on the substrate...) :D )

Hi Dominik,.

I would read it.
See also here: Seramis as Subtrat for difficult species (titanum, gigas, decus-silvae etc.) thread and post #65
I have observed what I would return in addition to physical causes (changing humidity, drainage conditions, temperature, fertilization) on microorganisms in organic, well drainiereneden substrates of common tubers with a corked outer skin.
In addition to the tubers in Seramis, I have also very healthy, not verkorkte tubers at tropical species in pure Sphagnum.

Happy growing, Bernhard.
