A. linearis gebrochenes Teilstück

Unfortunately, at harvesting my A. linearis tuber, or better root (60 cm), me has broken the part.
Can a part of without tip exorcise them again?

Hi Michael,.

This happens in species with this long, relatively thin tubers always easy - young operculatus are also very vulnerable, as I recently learned...

Intact atroviridis and operculsatus you can also promote or provoke by one horizontal pots the elongated tubers; then, the strong apical dominance broken or weakened, which prevents sleeping eyes (tillers/-meristeme) later cast out on the tuber.

Thanks for the quick and comprehensive reply; am now reassured though I regret already there to the tuber. I had not thought that despite the late bustle from 60 cm will evolve from a 25 cm bulb.

Yes, that is absolutely not a problem. linearis and operculatus are by nature already so fragile.
To break even when shipping, if you wrapped it in bubble wrap.

Just wait until the section forms a drive and then from there into the Earth.

That indeed is a good method, operculatus to multiply, where it shatters the tuber into small pieces.
