It should be a 90L (mortar) bucket, the regular is more important than the soil fertilizing.
What is Mediterranean potting soil? Normal Earth is sufficient, might not be the cheapest which is also or from the garden.
At ner2, 5kg bulb, grow to 6-8 kg is possible.

Thanks for the tip.

The Mediterranean potting soil has no peat in itself.
With the peat knew I not exactly whether I need in the world.

I'm going to take the wuxal dark. Got to get there time all.

Hey,
so I find it truly amazing how quickly the parts... can grow :icon_shocked:
Got my biggest flower today out of curiosity (However the smallest of my tuberous ;-)) the scale set: shocking result!) In the autumn, the tuber had approximately 1 200 g and today only about 780 g with bud! Everything just water loss or are other factors involved in it? Anyway, I find the flower with currently approx. 47 cm height for this weight high and determined even higher, because Yes the spadix looks still no mm above the spathe. Or are there exceptions?
Here most definitely times a picture with this, although not a doozy, but that it is my first Konjac flower at all, I think she's very impressive:D

So, my problem has almost overnight by alone solved! :D
The spadix sticking out now over 4 cm from the spathe and a size of 59 cm in total now!
You can see any signs the konjacs even on the eve of the opening of flower? At the Sauromats, you can beforehand to see a ripple of flower borders and determine already in the evening, that this thing tomorrow will stink.

Usually not immediately violently they stink, but first smell (still not corrupted) meat. In addition the Spatha turns to the 'maturity' purple

It'd actually something for tuber growth to remove the flower? (Please do not throw with Seramis :D )
The flower defecates Yes a lot of energy.

Hello

the flower remove, I think brings something for tuber growth, but only if the flowering stem is removed at an early stage. If the bloom is already formed can you leave her also, because the energy it already gone off from the tuber. To what extent the kill of the flowering stem stresses the plant, I don't know.

I can't tell you how much it does; I think is water weight as the main part, which deprived the tuber is and which can be compensated probably quickly with the first roots. Will test out on my next flower (glossophyllus). Photosynthesis lost by the flower that probably makes more in the bright season. Pushes the sheet after distant flower more quickly? (I will not test rather that)

Do you mean the normal peat pellets diameter of 4 cm? Actually no titanum seeds inside fits into that.
Or are there others?

Titanum seeds 9 cm pots are the minimum, but it doesn't fit here on the subject of

Hey!
My flower is dyed from now exactly 70 cm high and already beautiful, she unfolds at the top also a little. Also 'fischelt' it from the slightly open flowers. It is possible that the fragrance can vary from bulb to bulb? Got this at Sauromatum also been observed ' but thought to have deceived me. But a fischelnden Konjacblüte I'm still nowhere read :D !
Maybe I can mithalten...mich then tomorrow with my first own flower images would you be pleased, because I would have more of the flower on the weekend than under the week!

Remove with a flower, I meant the post by Musa, where it comes to... remove the bud before flowering
You can pluck off the faded flower so easily when it is wilted down...

Hey people!
Me's today (well, more or less) noticed interesting!
And that turns the spathe at my tubers in different directions at the moment forming flowers! So the pictures can be seen well what I mean, where on the most developed the Spatha turns Yes down left, the other two are down right! Has that ever watched someone? At my Callas at home something that has never been the case, which were always all the same!
Still FYI: 73cm from the tuber surface has the largest flower, the right has 71 cm and the smaller has 35 cm.
The largest is now soon times tiring and opens, hope times, wait already since Friday, because both the spathe and the spadix are color terms yes already fully developed, also ' fischelt ´ the flower too soon for a long time so komisch...hoffe me that decides:icon_gott:

Hello

@ Frangipani: I like I said still no flowering cut off self, but I can imagine that this can give problems if you take a clean sharp knife and give possibly some coal powder on the interface.

@ Konjacstämmchen: you're doing so a left-handed! To be very creative, see what else lists the bulb... But fun aside, my last Konjacblüte turned from top right to bottom left, as your medium, which is the most. Would be interesting if you could remember the tubers to check when the next flower, whether the rotation genetically or is random.

Love greetings

Michael
