Wann A.Konjak zum Blühen bringen

Hi I have 5 Konjac tubers with flowering shoots! still in the cold basement with slow growth, now my question when should I pick up the tubers in the warm and stimulate the flower to the flower so that in the summer plant again a wonderful is developed!

I can give you unfortunately no precise information, but I have the same problem...;)

I had stored my two flowering tubers in the hallway at ca 10-15 ° C. Both have started with the expulsion of about 2 weeks ago when I had decided to take one of the two tubers in the warm.
The "warm" tuber has now approx 7 cm ahead of the "cold".
It st me quite right, when flowering tubers at different times because I konjac pollination by the last flowering schedule.

Basically, I think it is not bad, if the plants are warmer. Otherwise the blade drive starts may not
in may or June?!

Hi,.
so my show no bud growth, but last year I had been at all until warmer they, when the bloom began to open. The leaf shoots was then very late late June.
I think they once if my somewhere something encouraging in the direction of flower, instead I warmer, so that the flower is as quickly as possible...

Time look what experts have to say...

According to a blossoms, the blade drive starts usually quite late. That's why I'd ask that now quietly been warm.
Then the flowering is over when it is again brighter and the sheet can soak up the good Sun for the tuber.

So...
now I have question there again ne!
And while it surely means that buds are duller than leaf buds, so far right?
I got my tubers are about 1,200 2,400 g and as what is happening now, however you might think that even root approaches form!
The tuber with 3.6 kg is still nothing, however, as only!
I have the 'small' now warm, however, if it wants a leaf drive, I'd be far too early!
Should I leave her now just times warm, or down in the basement?
The buds are by the way, all rather pointed...

The with butt us Spitz have never heard.

Generally you can say that the flowering stem early drives out, as a sheet. If so January and February something inexorably grows and then on this shoot at the base are not root approaches, then you can be sure, that it is a flower.

OK, thank you, stock up now I think well done!
I don't know where I picked it up, but I mean to have somewhere read that a blade drive is pointed as a flower.
In any case, it seems to be one because the thing grows day by day to himself and seen only small root tips.
Currently, the drive is 11 cm high with a weight of 1034 grams (in autumn)
Would be Konjacblüte at all so my first live!

size you can scan the drive with your fingers. If you realize what hard, then that is the base of the flower
On one hand, that is not so hard.

I also believe that the timing of the shooting is the surest sign to identify a flower.
I got my two large tubers in the warm now.
The larger with 3, 4kg has a flowering stem of 101 cm ;) the smaller 2, 9 kg only now begins with the drive.
It is also my first own konjacblüte. The two tubers had in the last year of 451 and 556 g and have not flourished.

Hi na that goes but sharply up at me they grow currently approx 5 cm by 7 days that was so slow with you at the beginning?:icon_confused:

Montag, 26. Januar 2015, 12:53

The beginning was with me also quite slow, so no more than 1 cm per day. For a good week, the growth has accelerated considerably. Since today morning again 1, 5 cm have been added;)

The plants are also quite warm, tagüber 21-23 ° C and at night at least 16 ° C.
At the smaller bulb, which has only recently in a warm, so far as well as no growth shows

Okey then I'm thank you surprise me even when the often frantic pace described growth goes my 2.5 kg and 5, 0 kg tubers have now both so ca 17 cm high flowering buds
