rareniceplants (aka Alan Galloway) sells many tubers on ebay.com. Unfortunately he offers no more international shipping. But for our american members that's a great oppotunity of getting rare species...

Talked to Alan about it and he had a lot of trouble last year with sending tubers to Europe, that's the reason he doesn't send to Europe anymore. But he made a deal with rareplants.eu. Waiting for his answer how that works.

But too bad indeed, so many nice species he's offering at the moment

In this context, I just wonder whether there are two types of health certificates. The ebay supplier thailandplant its tubers certificates attaches, except for Europe.

So I am wondering what is if I buy a tuber with a certificate from a company outside Europe? Then it is possible that it is 'wrong', and is not recognized by the German plant protection service? Because apparently there is Yes, a certificate that is issued in Asia and the United States is ok but the EU not Dada.

I'm just somewhat cautious after the love officials have seized me 12 tubers from United States.
