Hello Anthurium,.

welcome here at the Amorphophallus fans!

This is a beautiful seedling in your avatar - you know where the seeds come from just random?
Here there recently was a short discussion whether origins are possibly more robust and better suited to the culture in Germany from the cooler Highlands.

Happy growing, Bernhard.

Hi Bernard, thanks for the Nice welcome.
The exact origin is somewhat difficult to say when these seedlings.
A well-known biologist had found them in Sumatra in a remote mountain region. Unfortunately I can not mer remember exactly to the name.
Will ask on occasion more closely again.
But he said the flower is deep purple.
Hope you can catch something more to advance.
Unfortunately am a career changer and must learn as much about Amorphophallus.

Greetings

Chris

Hi Chris,

the origin of practice details are always interesting. If you find out there is what can't, that would be great...

Can you remove your nickname that you get starting across from the anthuriums?

Happy growing, Bernhard.
