Anzucht A. paeoniifolius

Moin together!

somehow the cultivation of A. wants to not succeed paeoniifolius me from seed.
The seeds sprout reliably, but the continued growth runs with insane journal sales - up to two new sheets per week, which then just as rapidly die off. Sometimes the sheet is still not even fully developed - and then retracts. At the end, measly nodules with 0.5 cm come out if anything. The initial quiet period not survive then, dry up during dry storage or rot in wet storage. Does anyone have any idea?

Ernst

Hi, Ernst,.

did you do any photos?

Two leaves per week? I've never heard that in Amorphophallus...

When a leaf moves, before it is deployed, actually often indicate problems at the roots.
What substrate you use? That is wetted slightly?

(UN)Happy growing, Bernhard.

Hi Bernard,.

I took pictures at the time, but no longer find. Possibly, they are still on the old phone will look when I'm back home. And Yes, this growth rate was also new for me. Monday you see it coming out of the Earth, Wednesday is to unfold and on Sunday, it will have yellowish, that's 2 new leaves at different stages of development are. Happened before me, like in a nutshell.
Substrate was my usual mix (standard soil, perlite, wood coal meal) with a layer of clay at the bottom drainage, damp but not wet held. I have started two attempts so far, the first time they have also not so insanely fast grown although much faster than E.g. Titanum seedlings you were standing right next to it, come out are the aforementioned mini nodules. And this year's was this time-lapse phenomenon, tubers are even smaller.
