Hi, I just could not resist and had to dig out, although it again forms a growing tip, a tuber. She sat on the substrate surface anyway too close...
Voilà: 6, 3 g

Small update,

All ten seedlings alive and have two or three leaves.
You have thrown away some even two sheets at least the first. The leaves are 20... 30 cm high.
A tuber has drafted already mid-June but drives out now. When repotting, the tuber had a diameter of 1.5 cm.

The new blade (the fifth) stopped for a seedling to grow. It has become only a few cm high and looks malformed. It's Green, but the leaf segments have not unfolded. I guess I accidentally poured water on the blade tip and then something from the wet earth has penetrated into the sheet.

Many greetings
Olvi

Hi Phillip,

This looks very good - especially when you consider that the Pflanzchen in the cold Finland and least in winter have the short days... :icon_winkgrin:

At my hewittii in Seramis Holzkohlegries many are now entered or moved (because I would have to look closer), so that it looks by far not as good as yours.

Supplementary question: What spec. is quite dark sheet on the last photo far right with the feingeliederten?

Happy (furher) growing, Bernhard.

Hi Bernhard

This is Dunni, one of the few species survive when me, but only as small tubers. If they are larger, so 5... 6 cm in diameter, rot them regularly in the spring when I put them in the ground. I got it by Husar2003 since 2006, now he probably has a different Member name.

Hello

have grad just my hewittii seedlings repotted because you have grown up slowly to all in a pot to stand.
10 seeds, 9 plants are still there. The largest sheet is almost 50cm high, but see for yourself, tubers are almost none.
I hope now survive the transplanting and tuber growth finally starts.

Because you are grown really well and always leaves came, I would have expected more.

Hello

also from me a quick update:

10 seeds, 9 have sprouted. In Seramis no loss in soil failure, where I've made a head cutting the already very beautiful grows. Another has moved in early and made a 6, 5 g tuber. One hewittii (already reported) has become a full Bush. with the two new shoots, she has now nine shoots/leaves. I don't know what's going on in the substrate, anyway, the plant has a bombproof stand, which is why I a bigger tuberous or carefully exclude root problem. the longest root has 60 cm from the edge of the pot up to the branching point of the leaf segments. (see photos)
All others are good with each a sheet.

Love greetings

Hello together,
two more hewittii have moved now, the tubers but have some sort of thick bark, which similar to also pick up as at tree bark as I've never seen it. On the cracks you can see the white bulb, it is also firm and has no problem.
Should I let this "cover", which roughly looks like the skin of the old tuber, often still on the new bulb it or make up? The layer is very stuck on the tuber, therefore I tend to them to leave, to avoid damaging the tuber; Maybe it's even a good protection from drying out. Or to build me a decay problem? Plants in Seramis were, by the way.
Love greetings

Hi Michael,.

I would the "bark" on leave; It should not allow probably rot problems.
I had a similar bulb of a tropical Amorphophallusart; last year I had concerns.
She is but without a problem-driven.

Many greetings

Hi Ortwin,.
Thanks for the reply; I'll handle this also. The case seems to have Yes a huge moisture storage capacity, are open after a day it has been still wet she is now to "Observe" airy covered on damp Seramis, is soon set to Sphagnum.
Love greetings
Michael
