Moin!
I had bought a Titanum seedling with leaf on ebay.
The second hand is now A few weeks old scchon, makes but no institutions to be yellow.
Q1: Is it normal...? :icon_confusednew:

The second question refers rather to a general context.
The konjac tubers in about 3xso are wide of the petiole. Is that in other species also?
I ask because my Titanum should - have I now already almost 3cm but don't want to dig.

Hello Flutbluemen,

Plants of large species, which have usually only one sheet, can have multiple leaves as a young plant; the reason is that they make the next sheet, without insert a rest before moving the old sheet. Therefore, hewittii, decus-silvae, gigas, etc. as a young plant can have titanum, 2, 3 or even 4 leaves.
The oldest leaves then gradually die off.
If the tuber is larger, it is eventually the rule: per vegetative phase 1 leaf, which draws up to rest. then new leaf or flower...

your first question was answered already by Bernhard,
to your second question:
My biggest Titanum 7 cm bulb as she walked into the resting phase, the last leaf had a shaft diameter of 2 cm;
This would be so even on the 3:1 rule (if there is one...)
