Thanks for update! Hope not too limited is the customs, but the mills of the German bureaucracy as we know not very quickly turn;)

You still a nice weekend and - indeed - unhappy waiting!

Customs makes eh what he wants. I got yesterday an envelope with seeds from the United States, who was two months. I'm often the experience with extremely different maturities. I'm guessing around the reading then for weeks at German customs.

Hi Bernard,.

I think it looks rather bad. Professionally, I know that programmes with time-sensitive content generally are shipped via express and then also quickly dispatched. That has probably failed Malesiana. Now, because to ask customs to our bubble envelope from all the to be normal FraPort broadcasts to find A.hewittii to classify non-endangered species, to declare and to forward you should rather be an impossibility...

Remains only the fingers crosses and if necessary again with Kuching to email, if the show is a failure. And I also want to paint not the devil on the wall;)

Greetings,

Simon

Hello together,
my letter is there, seed look good.
Interestingly a green sticker with the note "exempt from the customs clearance" question from Deutsche Post sticks me on the envelope only, why my letter then a week in FFM has located.

Ernst

Staryi, it took a week, until the customs officer has determined that this program is free. ;-) While you're probably lucky and your shipment this month was the fastest. :icon_angel:

Because everything that comes from abroad, arrives in Frankfurt Main, is always busy.

You get there several million items every day, that must be controlled. Also letters are checked.

Because it takes time before the letter arrives in Germany.

The consignments will be dispatched but in different customs offices. My news came from Hamburg, and last year I had a cross-country skier who came in via Leipzig.

So far, never had any problems receiving tubers/seeds/cuttings/or other plant material from outside the Netherlands. Received material from Indonesia, Thailand, USA and different European countries. And earlier this year my father in law had taken some plants from Japan, 1 of them was an Arisaema kiushianum in flower and with potting soil. At customs they thought it was an Orchid,so he had some problems at first, but the boss said it was a cobra lily and no problem at all. So it probably really depends on which country. Have been looking at the regulations of the Netherlands of importing plants, the only thing they say about aroids is that the tubers are only inspected by the eye for certain kinds of fungi or other pests.

So far I also never had to pay extra taxes, might have been lucky.

Because I think it rather unlikely that the plane was traveling to Frankfurt 13 days, I hope times that customs were work has also been done.

Greeting
Andreas
