Hi Bernard,.

A. paeonifolius I let dry out properly, but a certain moisture keeps by itself quite long in the pot. The substrate is then properly nestles to the tuber.

I leave also "dry bulb" in more tropical species, eighth but here on a rest of moisture in the pot (bucket).

The same applies to species as A. hewittii, gigas & co. Since I her dry, does that mean not so wet as it used bring about the rest period, have significantly less rotten tubers.

Many greetings
Ortwin

Yesterday was Bernhard extra bloom gigas in Hanover to the A. again and has made recordings in the eye distance for 3D images.
Thanks again for you.

I would like to present the result will also immediately.
Just the first image has a very good depth and shows A. gigas as a whole in addition to a fading A. titanum sheet.
The A. titanum sheet is then again separately to see in the last picture.

I find the A. gigas flower colour very appealing.
Overall, it is a very nice clone with a class coloured (sheet) petiole.
Everything else is described in the A. gigas thread.
Edit by Moderator: Amorphophallus gigas

Have fun looking at.

Last weekend has flourished with me A. ferruginosus.

The flower is but the Gestank...unbeschreiblich, itself very nicely to moldy Handkäs which properly fesetzte in the House and just not went away.

A. ferruginosus is easy to keep and multiplied thankfully abundant. The plant grows squat. She has a very beautiful reddish petiole. In the garden stands out partial shade in the summer.

As always have fun looking at.

Many greetings

She had 812 g. She has flourished with me the first time.

The flower looks also great, but the smell was really obnoxious.

Amorphophallus ochroleucos flourished at Bernhard;
He sent me his pictures to compose.
You can see the result in the annex.

To the plant itself I can unfortunately not contribute, since I do not own it.

Happy viewing. :-)

Hi Ortwin,.

Thank you for editing and adjusting!

orcholeucus is an Evergreen (very short rest after pulling up the old sheet), simply to persistent way, forming bulblets in the leaf axils.
You blooms with a fully-powered leaf...

Yesterday A. proved prainii the honor to flourish. I have to wait for long.

The tuber itself weighed only about 250 gr.
The flower itself is quite pretty, but very small (as usual in this type). You does not measure approximately 15 cm - more. It seems somewhat puny in relation to the journal. She does stink but as a very great! A. prainii to persistent tropical style is generally considered a very heat-sensitive, not quite so simple.
I can't confirm this for me. It is after the leaf shoots throughout the summer outside partial shade in the garden.

The bulb I leave in the during the rest period in the Earth and überwintere at about 15°-18°.

Have fun looking at.

Hi Ortwin,.
am enthralled with enthusiasm! Real a great flower. I also never thought that prainii the size is capable of flowering, had in terms of kilos with more expected. If your bulb again expect time share and wanted to get rid of what then I cry quietly here!

Love greetings

This year I have a flowering year. Never so many kinds have blossomed for me.

Yesterday was Synandrospadix vermitoxicus; with me for the first time ever.
The tuber weighed 678 gr. and was now 6 years old. It is not one the difficult species; I had to fight, especially when I took the tuber in the winter out of the pot and have dry winters but often times with rot. Since I am, moved over to leave the tubers in the pot and drying with the substrate, there were no more rot problems. Overwintering temperature was 15°-18 °. It stands, like many other species in me also, partial shade in the garden in summer.

Have fun looking at.
Many greetings

Hi Ortwin,.
Another way, I don't even know, but just only beautiful looks. And in my booty schema fits fully because of care claims. This type makes daughter tubers by chance?

Thank you for the show.
Greetings Ralf
