Aronstabgewächse in 3D

Hello

today A. has flourished with me thaiensis.

This is me the idea had come to photograph the pollen twice: in the eye distance for each eye per image.
Then once I have set these together as stereo photo for the cross eyed and on the other hand as a Farbanaglyph red-cyan.

The spatial view as Farbanaglyph you need the most well-known red-cyan glasses.

Is the view through the brilliant color and clear high-quality
so-called cross eyed. Looking at the image on the left with the right eyes and at the same time
with the right picture left eye. It is in the middle between
two images of a third image Which one is a real 3D, so as
If you directly are about and consider the inflorescence.
Given to the cross eyed takes some getting, but it is now dominated
a real experience. There are plenty of instructions for practicing the cross look on the Internet.
Just googled under Stereophotography.

Have fun looking at the pictures.

Many greetings

Ortwin

Hi Ortwin,.

This is so awesome :icon_thumbs1:

and work easily even without instructions, if you just start flowering at the sight of the two peer - as a 3-D photo between the two flowers appears In fact as from making hand! :icon_eek:

What I myself but then thought: hopefully the eyes don't stop... :icon_confused:

Happy watching, Bernhard.

Must you squint right to do this? When I try it the eyes hurt and colleagues laugh

Hi tide flowers,.

as there are two techniques for viewing stereo images:

http://de.Wikipedia.org/wiki/Stereoskopisches_Sehen

where the cross eyed (strabismus technology) is probably busy...

Happy watching, Bernhard.

Hi tide flowers,.

I learned it by this method:

http://www.fotocommunity.de/PC/PC/mypics.../display/556282

The cross eyed appears busy only at the first moment. But if the brain has learned it once it works just fine.
If it works the first time it is a real "eye-opener".
Meanwhile, more have no problems with switching on the cross eyed.

Many greetings
Ortwin

I think just fine, it works so well.

I want to insert an image from a pollen again. This time not an Amorphophallus, but an Arum pictum SSP. sagittifolium.
I have moved the plant from seeds and has today blossomed in me for the first time. The smell was typical of Aronstäbe.
The flower has about a size of 15cm.

I'm here at irregular intervals ever sprinkle flowers in 3D for the cross eyed, so how they bloom just at me.

Many greetings

Hi Ortwin,.
there possibly even the purchase of a 3D-Kammera would be worth for you to have a special, two-facing screen that shows the two images in 3D. I've seen recently and already fascinating looks.
Love greetings
Michael

That doesn't work cameras normally with the finished 3D. At least not with those who I know.
These are aimed at a distance of 5-20 m, since they have a fixed eye relief (6.5-7 cm) between the two lenses, which also cannot be changed.

Because I must approach but Very much A lot closer, I must vary in terms of the 'Interpupillary distance' between two shots.
I'm always 4-5 shots with different intervals in series, put them together and pick the most realistic photo.

Yesterday, A. has flourished atroviridis.
Not spectacular, but in this dreary time but a nice surprise.

I was very surprised about the flower as the tuber has been very small. Hopefully, enough Knollenmasse left to form a new leaf after flowering.

Hi Ortwin,.
awesome pictures! the 3d impression is especially impressive when the konjac I find!
A pity that this has much smaller as 3D-wahrgenommene image as in 2D view.
Are you just me so? There is an explanation?

Hello Stephen,.

the 3D image is actually slightly smaller than the two source images in this recording.
This is probably because that I have chosen a different lateral spacing when shooting as the actual eye distance of less than 7 cm. I must choose a different spacing at small distances to the object (for example, 5cm), so that as the end result is an almost realistic impression of the flower. The brain converts less than 7 cm but always on (it doesn't know Yes else - Yes a whole life the Interpupillary distance is constant). This process occur as a result of the impression that the 3D image is smaller.

Ortwin

Hello

a more 3D-Aufnahme; This time by A. bulbifer.
She flourished today and has very little geduftet in my opinion – my wife disagreed however.

Many greetings
