Hi musa,.

I can't say that you; I checked with the provider...

It should To give origins that make significantly larger leaves/tubers/flowers than others, but if there are also more robust.

Happy growing, Bernhard.

Hello
someone from the Forum should bid for the plant, then a report would be interesting how this A. titanum really developed.

Love greetings

Michael

the amorph grower in new hampshire,USA.. lou ricciardiello specializes in titanums..i believe he is
experimenting in his breeding program with various "strains" of titanums from many sources..
i have many of lou's titanums..they are great.. one of my larger ones has MONSTER sized leaves..
last year..the leaves were on average 12- 14 inches ( 30-35 cm) long..none of the others have leaves this
size.. lou's greenhouse is winnipesaukee orchids you can see webpage www.winniorchids.com
lou may be a good resource for more info on this other grower bernard..
just an idea.. good luck..
and btw.. your tubers got here today..they are GREAT!! much thanks!!:)

These plants are grown by Philipp Gießibl. I have 1 of the East Jambi plants from him. Compared to the plants from Winniorchids, it has a bigger stem and bigger leaves. So far I don't see any other differences yet. Soon I will get a few more titanum seeds from Sumatra, don't have the locality of those seeds yet,but will get that information soon.

Will try to make some pictures soon of them.

Best regards

Willem

Hi Willem,

Philipp was pretty active in this forum in former times; maybe he notices the comments on his East Jambi titan arums here and drops a few lines.....

Happy posting, Bernhard.

Hello together,
I'm sorry, have A few time No more seen in the Forum, just right to do A lot...
I have even Not much A lot info to the titanum "robust form". The seeds came from Sumatra, from the East of the province of Jambi, the collector said the plants would look especially strong and robust. Whether it is In fact a special form, must be seen. In any case, the seeds and seedlings are In fact larger than normal. I certainly Very much wonder as evolve that, I hope I get my remaining copies right through the winter.

Titanophile,

titanutzz that the area in which this form was umgephlügt and was replanted learned with the provider of Philipp got the seeds probably a year ago.
This origin is there therefore probably only on collectors...

Happy growing, Bernhard.
