Hello
by Spathantheum orbignyanum I bought last year Yes a small tuber. got some rumgemickert only a small sheet of undivided. She also had aphid infestation. But against expecting the tuber has become greater. Let's see whether it grows this year better.

seems to give different leaf types, at least leaves photos of various Spathantheum can be found on Google. Or is there different kinds? hope is the undivided leaf of my plant still changes, if the plant is larger because the other version I find beautiful.

Hello again, orbiguyanum is clearly the geschlitztblättrige type. The round - or heart-shaped leaves are a different kind or even Gorgonidium. I get both Seiti, if it is the same source as yours, then we will see what comes out. V.G. Matthias

My tuber comes from an eBay seller in the Netherlands. Gorgonidium also had the seller. He has swapped the tubers accidentally maybe.
Did unfortunately no photo of the journal last looked my plant very modestly. I'll post here a photo once again driving tuber so that is what I have now for a plant.

Hello

My Gorgonidium I'm something more than 1 year as one about 1cm small tuber get. Indians first growing season has an undivided blade the blade get, überdauerte 5 months, tuber has doubled its size. Over-wintering dry, along with my Konjakknollen. Shoots blade much larger but already drawn, at the end of April after only 9 weeks! Don't know whether an additional sheet if necessary want to slide (such as young Amorphos) or starts the rest.

I would exclude Earwigs (forficula), eat better other Athropoden, such as aphids and their eggs. You go just in case of emergency on living parts of plants, even on fruit or dead.

Hi, this year was a real catchy plague with me, I have never had so many. may that be they prefer eat aphids, but often I have caught on fresh it at other plants Act (sometimes I'm looking down at night my plants for Dick mouth like) as they have eaten plants (among others on Angel's trumpet, with the maize they ate off the all scars threads in the piston me).
Since I had brought the outdoors the a catchy tune I found in the vicinity of the Gorgonidium(?) were no new Frasspuren. Before I had found him were the Frasstellen were always more

aphids is he already useful but recently I read that increasingly it is not only useful see here:

Quote

You should stone sowiebeim on vines if necessary. refrain from a targeted promotion, if they considered pests
occur or damage shrubs and herbaceous plants. What is certain is, that one the Earwig
is no longer fully just beneficial can be described, as always still often to read!
Where Earwigs so occur in excess, it may be advisable to remove them from the garden.
Sometimes the Earwig occurs the most diverse plants as omnivorous Schädlingan
The notes that Earwigs in gardens can wreak great damage to shrubs and trees are growing lately. Obviously, the increasing global warming contributes to that the animals proliferate. Many gardeners are quite frightened if pled the and if necessary. also sponsored "beneficial" suddenly turns as omnivorous pest and ruined entire plant stands.

Hall, I would plant them, not to keep until the shoot is above ground significantly. It's still early in the year, so cool but bright, if the room is about 12 degrees. I had pot my also, now I think she's at 10 degrees cooler goes with me not, for this dark. Only when the train is above ground I put bright and warmer (hopefully can she then all out. - running pipe dream). With me, this year is all up to three weeks earlier on it than the years before, no idea why, must have to do with the milder winter temperatures.
Best regards Matthias

I speak now not specifically for this species but generally. I did experience that tubers that show a shoots grow faster when they are getopft as such still stored.

I had tested once konjacs with two, both of which had a shoot and were about equal in size. One, the other dry next to the pot getopft made. Thus, both had the same temperature. While the shoot was slightly longer in the dry, already a sheet grew at the gate.

Since I have already many tubers shoot this year, I will try to at least the types which should be in the garden to some delay, so that you will not be too long due to lack of light. If they ever stay in the apartment, it is OK.

Greeting
Andreas
