Arbuskuläre Mykorrhiza

Hi, I would like to take up a topic, that was addressed here in 2007 but then somehow ran into the sand. Someone of you has pursued the issue and there are new findings? I have INOQ mycorrhiza for allegedly all "balcony and garden plants. Arbuskuläre mycorrhiza in raised bog peat to the mix in the substrate or subsequent inoculation in the root zone. It should be Yes as a result everything better and above all grow stronger, again stand ready. I think it could be especially useful for types that like to rot. This is just a thought, what do you think? So think of the soil on the satisfying me you must be "saturated" with even many micro-organisms that are to the growth of advantage. Yes is there perhaps a mycorrhizal bit replacement? V.G.Matthias

Hi Matthew,
I got on these issues the past few years a lot of info and seen trials etc.. Unfortunately due to time constraints but even little tried. The general consensus seems to be that it only makes sense to fix his gaze on a specific manufacturer's products. In addition to the Mycorrhizae preparations by different companies also other useful micro-organisms are offered, E.g. Trichoderma harzianum or Bacillus subtilis. Especially the latter seems to be quite popular now as a fungicide replacement.
The effectiveness of these organisms depends on so heavily, find what conditions and in what state the treated plants are located. Well-tended plants, hardly a difference will be to detect. As much chemical crop protection (in particular fungicide usage) and if strong mineral fertilization, that creates simply unfavorable conditions for a healthy soil life.
Bottom line, it should therefore go to get away from the supposedly sterile culture and to create favourable conditions for healthy soil life and symbiotic processes in the substrate. Mycorrhizae and other micro-organisms can contribute, as well various organic fertilizers and tonic. The whole thing is fairly complex, you get unfortunately no standard prescription for home use, certainly not for sophisticated plants as we cultivate them. But harm can so easily try any of these products, and see what it brings...

Hi Phillip, exactly I mean that also, but just with the fertilization. It's not particularly hard to find an organic fertilizer which so quickly implemented in the pot by the organisms living there, which is the amount of nutrients available? I try like to something new if it makes sense, but I was recently on an American Web site org. Fertilizer in Einzebestandteilen offers from the bat guano on seaweed meal up to various core meat and bone meal, blood meal etc.etc. As I stretch wings, since my knowledge is not enough by far. I find the molasses based fertilizer offered us more ungut.ich would change immediately on organic, if there is a plausible solution. I try mycorrhizal now in Konjac, napalense and I at least. 2 some other plants from which a control plant without having to. I'll see if that made a difference despite mineral fertilization V.G. Hi Matthew,

I had also written: "Attempt makes kluch..."

and you put the same kindly indeed to control - I'm looking forward to results and pictures!

VA-mycorrhiza is definitely the right approach; I don't think that Amorphophallus are colonized by Ectomycorrhizal.
I could well imagine that VA-mycorrhiza has positive effects, but to trying to get around sure yet...

Happy inoculating, Bernhard.

Hi I will test this year for the first time EM (effective microorganisms) and a tool called "Wurzelstark". Both cost€ 17.90 Bella flora, the two agents were in a pack together. Preislcih quite expensive, but I wanted to try it out. In particular to see whether the micro-organisms contained therein against harmful bacteria/fungi Act trigger the tubers rot. Since I last time increases it had lazy tubers. Not bur Arum plants but also my colorful potatoes. :icon_neutral_new: and I have no desire to lose more plants.
the EM 1 l are and by the bottle and by Wurzelstark 0 5 l in the Pack. EM alone costs € 4 per 1l bottle is priced so affordable as the other means.
Em is also larger containers are priced cheaper. But wanted to first test with a small amount, before I buy several gallons of it myself. There were also other tonic. Let's see maybe I do some comparison tests with A. konjak tubers.

Matthias, that is actually the most organic Volldüngern, if they are properly applied. But it was of course not as under control as in the mineral fertilization, therefore may be a combination of the two might be helpful. Quasi normal manure (not exaggerating) and Additionally the soil life feed with organic slow-release fertilizer.
I don't know whether and how much that can support the Mycorrhizae of course. I try Herum himself back a little...

i have good results using endo/ecto bacteria inoculants

its good to see other discussion on this topic..:) i have been using a "generic" mix of bacterial fungicide inoculant
on all my amorphs.. i find especially with my "tropicals" just titanum, and hewettii now..but with the warm soil, moist
potting mix conditions (perfect for corm rot) that using the bacterial fungicide (endo/ecto bacteria) i don't have the
corm rot.. the powder i use..is a mix of several endo/ecto bacteria.. i add kelp powder, and a amino acid as well..
i mix this in with my regular watering (i fertilize every time i water, less so when corms are dormant)..
2 things i notice.. the titanum corms don't have the root i had before..and the root systems on the corms is dramatic..
the last titanum corm i dug (now in dormancy) had fantastic roots, and root hairs on it.. i was very pleased..
hope to read of others experiences..good and bad..from your use of symbiotic bacteria..
also..with my alocasias..i also find they do better using same..

Hi Phillip, sounds good I try it out, you can call me a your opinion well effective organic fertilizer? I actually never überdünge, I am strong at Starkzehrern but know the damage caused by excessive fertilizer from earlier times. I no longer need it.Usually, I take the various Hakaphos or Osmocote depending on the Group of plants. So it works very well. But undoubtedly an intact soil life is positively impacted a desirable goal, because it simply the defense of diseases and pests. V.G.Matthias

I stumbled ever by chance a few months ago on the effective micro-organisms, have classified but after a short search in the field of mysticism the whole.

Here is a study that demonstrated the ineffectiveness of: http://www.agroscope.admin.ch/aktuell/00...de & msg-id = 36563

A study of the ARD comes to the same conclusion: http://web.archive.org/web/2008020913534.../080203_4.phtml

The products offered by others on the Web site encouraged me in my view.

"EM-X ® ceramic to optimize water improved by energizing and"
Reduction of the cluster the quality of water and ensuring a
fresh taste."

I think I need not comment further on this set.

My opinion but only refers to the EM. Basically, I believe that it could be useful to VA-mycorrhiza. That would need to be tested hold.

Greeting
Andreas

I think not too much water recovery by energizing. Think my aunt bought some like a Wassserbelebungszeug. And when I went to the vocational school the school has formed a also to make something like this. :icon_irre: 'Ve noticed no difference, the water tasted equally atrocious as before. And I haven't felt too "energized". I don't know why they (the school was in Hartberg) had as a schäuslich tasting water. Prefer money instead of the expensive water recovery system in free water invested in bottles for the students. That would have been at least drinkable. :D

Thank you for the links, criticism is securely attached, am also somewhat skeptical, even miscellaneous about effective microorganisms heard of positive as well as negativen(also wirkungslos), let's see how looks the result with me.

Worked several years in a garden center, most recently was then fertilized with EM, MK5 and other biological resources/fertilizer all plants or vorbäugend sprayed against pests. Instead of using such as otherwise the chemical mace. By the feeling it occurred to me before that it helps. Can also be it either was due to the weather or the Elimination of chemical agents simply the insects were spared and therefore were Z.B of fewer aphids on roses. Or plain and simply regular and frequently sprayed/fertilized has since you got this means regularly applying the handicap.
Mixing was no pleasant thing have some means of uninstall bulk stunk, which had partly been a gag reflex.
My two store-bought remedies do not stink to happiness.

Matthias, I would just take what is the best way to get. Here is for example the Engelhart's Garden fertilizer quite spread, but only for the open field, because he smells a bit to the slaughter house.

Andreas, none of these studies claims to have demonstrated a general ineffectiveness. There is talk of an ineffectiveness in the investigated situation. The funds brought for both studies on areas, which were already longer ecologically farmed and which is already a stable micro-flora could arrive. That newly added micro-organisms there is little able to establish themselves, sounds logical to me. Pot culture has not been studied there, and represents a different starting point.
But yes, this whole EM enthusiasm is exaggerated and many of the products on offer include don't no living bacteria. I have to do, but also even more professionally but on the effectiveness of the bacteria I could make no statement, one can only surmise whether the drug or not just contributed to some success. With regard to dead bacteria in the form of ceramics etc, I am also very skeptical, this is likely a matter of faith...

Hi,.

I am very skeptical to agents who want to can everything. At EM's ranging from the washing power amplifiers via drinking water improvement to plant protection. The producer, who seems so deserved there not the most trustworthy source for any effects to me, especially when you consider that the offered ceramic rolls with the fungi and bacteria will be infected before the burning process. So sterile, I'd also likes my equipment... Could start at yes even a counter attempt with yeast wheat with yogurt! (Forgive the polemic, but I think to sell it means for expensive money, the effect of which has not been proven immoral)

Love greetings

Michael
