MM (moin Martin),

I have some plants of both species and I'm not sure whether d-s is really really easier to maintain.

front left and right - titanum / rear Center - decus-silvae - genotype 1 (rear left - dactylifer, rear right - gigas leaf bud)

decus-silvae petiole titanum petioles

decus-silvae - genotype 2 (linlks of a gigas leaf bud) petiole decus-silvae genotype 2

I lost even plants of two species, but I get the impression that they are similarly easy to hold if the substrate and other conditions.

Would be interesting to know where the seeds come from rareplants.eu; Since Bjørn Malkmus (pavement) itself has a very large collection, it might be even gezogenene seeds; they originated from the place, that would be so interesting, because the variability would be bigger then any...

Happy growing, Bernhard.

SERVUS Berhard, you put that on the windowsill? I would also, at 20 24 degrees, humidity 60 + %, would be a stay in the greenhouse in summer possible, since I hold a significant setback. There are orchids, Innenmoser and. Club Moss in it. Otherwise only indoors, however, we have a South-facing window front to the floor. By the way I'm a MM but not a Martin. Best regards Matthias:icon_winkgrin:

"Matt" Moin!
(I had to read it yet and you so now no longer draws with VG, M.!-but a Martin there are here too...)

Yes, zT on the window sill, to the part but also in the winter garden on a heating mat with approximately 24 ° C soil and air temperature of 20 ° C and secure > > 80% rel humidity; but there see the d-s and gigas not necessarily better off - on the contrary it is there common to the leaves have yellow bodies and then way lazy and verpilzen; probably more often long to extremely high humidity...

Under ZImmerbedingungen, the plants have more 18-20 ° C and because of the underfloor heating only around 50% rel humidity.
The plants in the shell are on the floor in the hallway and there, the temperatures are even lower.

Happy growing, Bernhard.

SERVUS Berhard,.
great, now I can trust me to decus-silvae and gigas. If the Winterers are out in the garden there is place in the House again ;) :icon_winkgrin: V.G. Matthias

I had with decus-silvae or their intersections with gigas absolutely no success, as well as with gigas itself. My Titans seem however to feel, especially if they are a little bigger. As well, John grows Tan me.
The Stinkern can be any general statement about the care, which vary from gardener to gardener. In this respect is most definitely try on study ;) good luck!
