Hello together

There is an online retailer offering various single ingredient substrates to the soil mix?
So not only pumice, lava, and perlite, but also various others - charcoal granules z.B etc..

Has anyone of you an insider tip if necessary?

i know im sort of a lone wolf here..USA..most of you are in europe..
but ?? question.. do you all have difficulty finding good potting mix there?? do you do as i do now..
i make my own potting mix.. i can make a potting mix myself better suited for how i grow my amophs..
i was just wondering..

Hello Perpetuum,.

I'm doing it as well as Titanutzz; I buy the different "ingredients" and mix depending on. Have different bucket with as many different lava, Earth, in the garden and and and... It is also much cheaper!

Take to Holkohlegranulat...man commercial charcoal is doing in a small bag and skin a few times with a hammer on it.
This saves shipping costs and space.

I'm doing it as well as Volker. Due to the dust, I but put the charcoal in a cotton bag, in a plastic bag.

On the first attempt I took only a plastic bag, but that is no longer dust after a few strokes, because they damage the edges of the charcoal.
