For me, my worst ever was this year unfortunately, my larger konjacs lost all weight.
Noticed that all's konjacs me also, unless the wild form as also the varieties, more or less verkorkte bodies have surfaced.
Many I have also completely burst and putrid popped out of the ground. Particularly affected Leo song, which is none at all I! absolutely healthy tuber have harvested.
But I am glad that others have pulled something good out of the year.
Congratulations to the Monsterkonjac, I eagerly waiting for a few photos of the upcoming flower

Hello

I got da ' ne question to harvest: my tubers (A. konjac, A. bulbifer, t. venosum) have all their leaves yet, only a small A. konjac on the retraction. The pots are especially at my A. konjac a bit bulging out. My plants are on the terrace. However, it has become today night quite cold, and the next few days are the temperatures barely above freezing. Can I harvest the tubers, and simply remove the leaves? Take the pots in the House and grow in the warm is unfortunately not possible for reasons of space.

You could make that clear. As long as it is above zero, but also nothing happens the leaves. And even if they get Frost, the tubers are not damaged as a result, they're so deep enough in the ground.

Hello

I'm not really excited about this year's income. There are a few parts over 5 kg, but the gains are rather modest in comparison with recent years, this is probably due to the short growing season. The spring came just too late. Therefore still squishy remnants of the old tuber were left with many tubers who have freed themselves at the dredge and left a heavily furrowed parting surface. I'm curious about, as this goes on...

I assume you're talking about IG SV. Then you described exactly the situation in my garden. The largest tuber has only a few hundred grams more than in the fall of 2012. In addition notice is the smell coming from the bottom of the tubers. As a precaution, I just washed the tubers in a Chinosol solution. Then the smell is almost gone, and now I really hope that the tubers are available over the winter period in the garage.

I have a suspicion that the smell because charcoal I've mixed with what in the substrate, coming?

This 6.5 kg tuber had pushed two leaves in the spring,
I thought that she sure will share and I'll reap two tubers.

uuuuuuh! I pulled a 2.6 pound tuber and a 3 kilo tuber from 2 300 g tuber! I believe not Yes. now, it will probably soon fucking muftelig me home! :-D

Very nice growth results. The double shoots bulb is even really anything unusual, as the flower of the tuber could cost but very nice weight.

I have cut some flowering shoots, but never really observed, whether it is of advantage or disadvantage for the coming growth.
Will I try next year with two equally large tubers.
The flowering stem is usually used, is larger and it is to feel a thickening.

In life I would never a flower bud caps, even if stinks (or even why)
is the flower a spectacle again.
With good cultural behavior the tuber is loose that.

You're right; When the flower is always again leg printing. But since I have no stinker Blühraum, away from civilization, I'm mostly only the largest bulb flower. At least until fellow threaten to harm me, if I don't remove the 'corpse'...

Harvest time!

Despite quite crowded housing (much too small pots in much to a small garden) my made to great! The largest weighs 5, 8kg (has almost tripled).
Incredibly, when I try to imagine that the largest of Oldi is three times as large! :icon_shocked:

The 'mutant' konjac has also drawn a slightly different appearance (second left)!
Otherwise, I have harvested lots S venosum, S giganteum and some konjac albus.
While I'm no longer sure whether the albus are (in the Brown coasters)
