A. paeoniifolius?

Good evening

Paeoniifolius had me early February from an eBay vendor ordered a tuber of A.. I put the bulb in my living room on the window sill where it was nice and warm. Still, nothing did until mid-July. After finally appeared the first roots and had a length of about 3-5 cm, I planted them in a large pot. The result you can see here. Is it an A. paeoniifolius?

Got there a bitches bulb! Or begin their growth always so late?

Hi Martin,

a sprouting is not quite ungewöhlich in July.
My big paeonifolius is later expelled this year.

The journal made the one could be paeonifolius, but I haven't seen paeonifolius a small spotted petiole on one.
At the latest at the next flowering of the bulb, you then get certainty...

It speeds up the shoots usually to fill some substrate into the crater of the shoots and slightly moist to keep rather than completely dry put it on the windowsill.

@Stinkmorchel: That is some a Sarracenia hybrids. I don't know what's there. :icon_confusednew:

So I'm still somewhat skeptical with regard to the plant. Peaoniifolius is quite variable, what is the colour, but I've never seen such points on paeoniifolius.

I'd rather go towards koratensis. There are offered at ebay also paeoniifolius seeds from Thailand, which are probably more koratensis.

You will only have security, when it blooms.

Okay, then the plantlet, still a piñata remains to first flowering. This will take but still a few more years until it blooms. The tuber was only 248 grams. Anyway, that makes the whole thing just interesting. :icon_winkgrin:

Once it blooms, I'll post a photo here.
