Vereinzeln oder nicht...??!

Hello gentlemen (and ladies?) Experts...:)

in the picture below you can see my A. bulbifer, which I have drawn this year from seed.

There are here PCs. the number in a tubular pot, which now each produce their second sheet 6.

Now the question of all questions: I should still separate the plants or more left in this year in the current pot?

I want to not necessarily interrupt the comrades. However I want to deprive even the possibly space needed them...

Originally, I have sown so that the plants have 3 cm on each square to each other, what the second leaves but not in the
seems to be even remotely interested in...:icon_confused:

What do you mean? Separate (in eleven pots) or not more?

Thank you very much advance time for your recommendations!

Greetings from the (still) hot Rheinbach

You can separate the quiet yet carefully of course. Bring even a third, perhaps even a fourth leaf, the footprint is then appropriately.

I would separate the also in 7 or 9 pots. But be careful so that the roots do not break down.

Thanks for the tips Stinkmorchel and Shreck!

Then I have to go once again to buy pots...:icon_blushnew:

Hi,.
only partly so, had you all can put together as a stopgap in a much larger plant pot, getting more root space?

Hi Frangi,.

I'm rather less worried about the roots as to the tubers, which if necessary could interfere with one another in time...:icon_erschreckt:

This is of course an argument!
I thought now didn't, do you think there will be such a leap from the seed to the tuber?

That would be not very helpful because each seedling grows a bulb and then the tubers take up the space.

I would gently rinse the seedlings out of the Earth and put individually in pots.

@Shreck
Does that really make sense now to separate the plants and to wash even the Earth from the roots? Seems somewhat extreme to me. Sure, the roots are so intertwined that to get it almost unscathed apart.

So I would that now just as they are in a larger pot put until they move. Is not more so long until the autumn. As long as the substrate is loose, push the growing tubers at worst a bit to the side. Can anything else happen?

If the konjac foothills grow against the rim of the harms that Yes not... which are only crooked and ugly, but they nevertheless we love! ;-)

Christian

The problem is that the seedlings move probably not in the autumn but grow through and because it is too narrow in the pot. Can try it, but I personally would you separate so that each seedling has enough space.

Well, the question is whether each individual plant gets enough light when it gets up around more dense then yes even...:icon_question2:

Yes, that is also an aspect that drills for the talks.

You can separate the quiet that are robust. But you should not wash it. It is better for the roots, if still Earth stay tuned!
