Hi Rene, (nice to read what again!)

exactly the impression I had also, was me but the first titanum offers were not sure, because there is still no tubers breeding tubers approaches see; now, however, already...
Now I just wonder where he did the photo with the titanum in the living room... Pictures aunt google knows it not...

Happy growing, Bernhard.

Hello

I've seen even the other auctions. These are no titanum. I think that this is paeoniifolius.

Have asked the eBay user drum, to respond to the facts of the case.

Mfg
Stephan

Wow... He has sold already a tuber to €78. If this is also no titanum, he has made a good deal. :-/

All his other tubers were definitely not titanum. No one allows titanum tubers so long in the fresh air, until the roots so dries up hanging on the tuber.

Either thinks the seller, means that there is only one way and they then titanum or but he sold the knowingly false

I can also imagine that partially already customers of the first generation of fraudsters sell their tubers at eBay, maybe even customers by customers. Without knowing that they have no titanum, I mean.

The tubers multiply so quickly.

@Stephan:

I did it to himself writes, if there are daughter tubers or seedlings and if he tells me the origin of the tubers.
For the image, which shows a titanum, I've denied me (yet) the question; It looks actually a private (living room) image, which then suggests that it is his own, and he would have to actually know, that makes any Cormels titanum.

' Wait times, if he replies – I will report...

Happy bidding, Bernhard.

I'm not sure if the picture shows also a titanum in the living room at the image. There are indeed also paeoniifolius clones, which are large and look of dye manufactured as one titanum.

Let's see if the seller responds.

Hello Stephen,

well, maybe you should ask for a close-up of the petiole; then it should be decidable.

Happy güssing, Bernhard.

That would clarify to minimum, kind of in the photo can be seen. That doesn't mean Yes, that the living room belongs to the seller:D :D :D

Exakt über diese Auktion wurde auch in der Facebook Gruppe diskutiert.

Jemand schrieb:
Be careful to the ebay User xxx. He offers tuber as A.titanum tubers.
Maybe the photos are not showing A. titanum tubers. Only the photo in the living room could show Amorphophallus titanum

Und jemand anderes, der einen sehr bekannten Shop in Deutschland betreibt, und der für seine äußerst große Aroid Auswahl bekannt ist, antwortete:
The above foto looks like A. bulbifer to me and the other one with multiple tubers looks like a mixture of A. bulbifer, A. konjac and maybe even one Sauromatum venosum tuber.
Basically I agree to make public any false offering on this selling platform, BUT please keep in mind that every FB member can read the posts in our group - not only the Amorphophallus group members. Thus it may be advisable not to post a direct link and to make a direct accusation, but to say "someone from Germany is offering a A. titanum which doesn't look like the species". Well, honestly I would even mention the seller's name, but I am rather cautious in these things ...

Hi everyone,.

I got the info from the provider, he can not tell whether they are seedlings or daughter tubers;
He got it from a friend who was working in a renowned Botanical Garden and have left him a lot due to lack of space there...

I do not know which renowned garden can be the item location is in Kürten in Bergisch Gladbach, close to Cologne/Bonn area.

Happy bidding, Bernhard.

If you look at his reviews, one finds that he is also a A. albus tuber has sold, which looks ok in the photo but in my opinion. He got to albus and titanum good reviews.

Apparently there are ebay people who buy without knowing what she should look like a tuber.

This reminds me, it would be a useful thing if we would post photos of our tubers. The stocks of all members are likely to include already a considerable part of the usual offer. Then you have always appropriate comparison images to hand new offerings.

The seller has now acknowledged that it has since come to confusion. It can no longer determine what kinds are there.

The photograph with the tubers is a good thing. You could take on quite times that in the cards... To do this we would have to start, to customize profiles. I there something

OK, I photos of all my tubers. Unfortunately I I the schusselt it also of the seeds to take before I've seeded it. But I'm also doing this now.

This is a good idea with the descriptions. If we have photos of tuber, seeds, shoots, stem, leaf and flower of the plants, it should be a great reference. As a result that many plants in different hands are seen directly slight variations within a species.

Greeting
Andreas
