Ernte 2012

Hello together!
Since we have determined that this year does not exist such a thing, we have 2012 opened just the harvest.
Our first harvest this year was one in the spring about 3 g heavy Cormel which brought it in room culture to stately 113 g :icon_thumbs1:

The substrate consisted of largely forest Earth, some potting soil and charcoal.

In the meantime, it grew strongly on the balcony, the pots were probably rather small elected... A 22 cm pot for a 140 g tuber, a 27 cm pot for a 350 g tuber. The whole Earth already described.

A short time later we could harvest the smaller tubers. She grew up on 484 g - we are a bit disappointed, what we have read here on growth...
What could it be? The substrate is highly nutrients and contains the know very good charcoal, was located on the balcony partial shade (3-4 hours Sun a day).
Fertilized we have to the main growth period a week approx. one teaspoon blue grain and between the blue grain gifts still liquid according to pack instructions. Was that perhaps too much?
Or the weather was not good? The bulb is driven out until mid-June. Perhaps, the pot was too small. Perhaps ye have made already similar experiences...

Hello

I believe that my compost soil from their own garden. the pot can be never big enough. I'll take next Yes for the tuber mörtelkübel a large. fertilized never actually is. If the pot big enough is, there are enough nutrients. full sun from Sunrise until in the evening.

have not weighed unfortunately they. I have just weighed a vergleichknolle which has approximately the same size. therefore I guess approx. 1 kg - 1.2 kg

I wish my tubers have been also so beautiful! :icon_frown:

Unfortunately the growth was not very good, but this year with me because I've tested where in the garden of the best place is for my favorites.
Therefore the most copies were (7 of 8) not great. Only approx. 20-40 Grams to only 60-180 grams. This is about the 4.5 times that of initial weight.
I figured with approx. 6-7 fan, so with about 200-400 grams. Am a little disappointed, but at least none is shrivelled and all are top fit.
I'm very happy with a tuber (therefore the best place in the garden), which has grown from 36 to 250 grams.
Had I hoped more me, but sure that the seats were not the best and I've totally forgotten the fertilizing in General, I am confident that the page grows next year and 2013 is better than 2012.
(I hope that one will make my tubers 1 kg

75 Grams to 7.5 grams!
What did you do with that? Are that heavy in the culture or similar as konjac
Of course, I am always about growth, but a little more would have it already were can.
But as I said, the next spring comes definitely!

No idea. It has decreased the 3rd year in a row. 3 Years ago, the bulb was still flowering size.

I can do what I want, which unfold the sheet immediately after the hanging and segments quickly recover. The sheet crippled formally.
Tried already with the locations and with Subststraten... Nothing to make.

This was 2012 as it were my introduction to the harvest.

There are 913 grams. A magnificent tuber with a thick foliation that finish will bloom! #freu#
The growth compared to the spring (350 g after flowering) is unfortunately slightly disappointing, but better than nothing!
Now even a fairly large and 3 primary Cormels outdoor (very sandy soil, full sun) awaits their harvest, still they are there but they. If we have ultimately several flowering enabled tubers, we consider, only one flower to leave and heads the second :icon_twistedevil1:

(due to the weight loss prosperity, the stench is no reason)

I have dug out today my biggest Amorphophallus konjac !

After the tuber pushed no flowering in the spring at 2.5 kg , she developed a 2 metre wide sheet over the summer in a 90 litre pot: (picture of a week ago)

I needed about an hour to bring the new tuber from the pot... when I did it then, I really lacked the words :icon_blushnew:

For comparison, I have installed a standard ballpoint pen on the tuber.

Weight: 13.5 kg (estimated weight after deduction of remainder of the leaf stalk)

My konjac has fallen from 5.7 to 5.2 cm diameter and has consumed the old bulb still not even begin.

I now have my konjacs already over 15 years and I've never seen such increases. should she have increased tenfold in a row 2 years? I can't believe just that.
