Hi Luke,.
I even suspect that it is a konjak.
I've lost konjaks hitherto only once by decay, after I made it in the autumn with very wet substrate in the plastic container (10-20 liters) in the basement and have "forgotten".
In the spring, then was a large part of the tubers.
Since then are the tubers fall out getopft and dry in the basement or in the winter garden to the new sprout stored; they should be eingetopft also only then, when new roots are clearly visible.
This is more important than in konjak, at paeonifolius, the (IMHO) still empfndlicher to wet storage.
It is different from the tropical Indonesia as titanum, hewittii etc., the species which benefit from moist substrate of storage in light or they need; This of course also the Temeperatur must agree, i.e. > 18 / 20 â ° C.
For the terms you offer, I would probably store them not to drive on; There is surely a somewhat drier, airy place in the room.
You should find here one in the Forum little storage conditions;
guckst you here:
