Unwetter

With Hurricane blasts to 130 km/h and a heavy storm on the REMS-Murr-Kreis swept away yesterday... you can you sure think, is what sustained strength in hurricane in 15 minutes with my Stinkern:icon_frown:

Before the storm began to rage, I could bring all stinker up on my two great konjacs in security. The leaves of the two great were thrown during the hurricane literally hinundher, squeezed and kicked. After everything was over, although both leaves were still off, but they "were" or opposed inclined at a 30 degree angle to the North. The leaflets were partly bent down and pulled away.
My concern is that the leaves were underground destroyed by the abrupt directional and speed changes of the hurricane (separated from the roots). I had me and now that so great pleasure to a season. A few weeks ago, they were taken by hail.
I really live in the wrong place....

What do you think that is what? I can at least schonmal check off my wishes of over 5 kg:icon_frown:

So my 2.5 kg konjac looked after the wiederaufrichten out. I can check off some already the leaflets:icon_explode:

Who of you was hit by storms?

Hello Oldi,

the description of listen to Yes quite dramatically...
But after looking at your picture, I would wait but still once relatively calmly; so bad that looks do not. In Japan it Yes more often to storm:icon_wink2:

Imagine a yet again in 2-3 weeks a picture, then you can probably see how much that has taken the plant.

Happy growing, Bernhard.
P.S.: Gestürmt it has here in the room East of Hanover already, but's was so violent as when you wohll not...

Hi Bernard,.

the oberiridische is really not so tragic, the majority is still off and could operate on photosynthesis. My troubles but below the surface of the substrate. Through the constant shaking and spinning, I suspect that roots are broken off, maybe even a break on the "interface" bulb/petiole. It was in any case very loose...

I'll have to wait.

Greeting,
Oldi

Hi
Your "Great" looks so little done in, but I think it is not so bad. Yet the tide yeah like a one and that is important! Broken roots grow quickly after, because certainly not off the tuber can be prevent. We have Yes still enough time to grow, so this storm should be no barrier to a thick, bold tuber.

I was luckily spared, my plants were the House protected in the wake of!
In my garden 8 km further it looked different, because it has given me two 8 m high trees uprooted:icon_explode:
Viele Grüße Walter

Hi WalleW,

After all the hand not fade so far, which means that it must be connected with roots! Na anyway the... :icon_thumbs1: Hopefully that will do something with the bulb. Am now all the more tense, how much kg then come out at the end of :icon_wink2: I must count with a small smear probably, but a total failure:icon_smilenew:

It has destroyed complete forest areas in the forest in Schwaikheim, according to damage classification, the winds must have been up to 200 km/h. Luckily not here, although only 2 km away....

Greetings,
Oldi

:DClean pick-up wärs... nice if I could. Large Amorphophallus have their disadvantages as well....:icon_winkgrin:

But thank you for the wishes! Looks at the moment really not so evil. If really nothing was damaged under the Earth this could be but what ordinary.

HM...
The 60 kg bucket alone wear down a slope and thus the hand not to injure would have been gambling problem. And on the other a park would have used nothing since Hurricane exactly where this has caused most of the damage (higher wind speed at narrowing of the road).

But this brings nothing more now, happened has happened. If last leader underground is nothing happens, then I am glad. I show you a photo after again. He looks again top:icon_smilenew:

BTW. In the neighbouring Schwaikheim tornado suspected... super :icon_confused: http://www.tornadoliste.de/

Curious about, as it goes on. with kinked part leaves my Konjaks came their way so far is always good, the assimilated surprisingly quickly. I press the thumb all of us and our treasures!

It is amazing. I have a garden in Grunbach, hillside. As the wind whistles always, even in calm weather. But there are a few small branches on the ground. I had also already nastiest fears... apparently the storm was large and yet locally different.

At us last night was chaos. Every few lightning directly in the villages and in some areas of 45 litres of rain per square second
With everything you can think of. No more cable TV telephone lines break, electricity and water in the night turned out....

And the next storm rolls just used born kotz.
