Literatur über die Familie Araceae

Hello!

No idea whether I am in the right here (if not, please move).
Because I have found nothing about the search, you could gather a list of interesting literature about the family Araceae or individual genera here indeed perhaps times.
Because the African Amorphos particularly interest me, I ordered now following book me:
Ittenbach, Stephan: Revision of the African species of the genus Amorphophallus (Araceae)
Englera 25, 2003Gibts for 34 euros at the BoGa in Berlin.

For a rough overview of the entire family, I found quite good the following book:
Bown, Deni: Aroids - plants of the Arum family

And for fans of the genus Arisaema, I can warmly recommend the following book:
Gusman, Guy & Liliane: The genus Arisaema - A Monograph for Botanists and nature lovers

What should you have read else?

Dies ist ein sehr umfangreiches Werk:

The Genera of Araceae by S. J. Mayo, J. Bogner and P. C. Boyce Kew: Royal Botanic Gardens, 1997

This book is the first complete taxonomic treatment in English of the Araceae, a large plant family of 105 genera and over 3,300 species. The aroids are very diverse in the humid tropics and include many of the world's most popular ornamental plants. Every genus is described and illustrated with one or more plates of original line drawings by the renowned botanical artist Eleanor Catherine, as well as range maps and 94 colour photos. There are general chapters on many topics, including economic botany, phylogenetic relationships, fossils, cultivation and detailed reviews of anatomy (by J. C. French) and chemistry (by R. Hegnauer).

The Genera of Araceae is currently out of print, though a new edition is being contemplated.

Wer nicht auf die Neuauflage warten will, kann in einer Bibliothek nachfragen und das Buch gegebenenfalls per Fernleihe bestellen.
Was oben in der Beschreibung nicht erwähnt wird ist, daß im Buch eine CD mit dem gesammten Buch als pdf enthalten ist; allerdings in einer pdf-Form aus der man nichts per Ctrl-C kopieren könnte, aber das braucht man ja auch nicht unbedingt........

Ob man die CD kopieren darf, weiß ich nicht........

Hi you two!

Thank you for the instructions.
I of course know the page of the IAS, had so far but usually only after the photos of the species gekuckt.
The book about the entire family sounds very interesting, since I am the book antiquariate browse times, whether I can find it somewhere.
The magazine, I go times it out, which is available only to members for purchase them.
Because I am a member already in various plant associations, I must me, think about that yet whether there is another or not happen.

Here sometimes a quick update my part.
I have now read through the book on the African member of the genus of Amorphophallus and can thoroughly recommend it.
The research for the book seem to be carried out as far as possible, very conscientiously.
In some species, there are probably still several open questions, as they are known only from the type collection, and until now not again have been found.
For the species where there is living material as well as herbarium specimens, the information is quite extensive and you should identify exactly these types.
There are drawings and photos of the Herbarium documents to almost any kind. There are color and black & white photos only in some few species.
