Hello friends of the Konjac, wanted to report that after flowering nothing more has happened. Flowering konjacs, all far beyond 1000gr, had 4-5 None of this has moved the flower leaves. Solangsam I have more and more Blüher, find that a pity, since I Leaves of the konjacs very nice find.
Now my question: is it normal that in our latitudes konjacs push no more leaves after flowering?
So far, I had still a leaf after flowering. As a result of this short growing season there was a flowering break part next year, but leafless I don't know.
I often had such Konjac's have driven no leaf after flowering. Later casts out the flower, the more likely it is that the tuber only a year later drives from your hand. So the plant can adapt again the seasons in our latitudes. The shoot is next year but already in April/May, so the plant again has plenty of time to make a large tuber.
I have my flowering enabled Konjac's already in the warm living room so that they bloom just as early as possible. Should this not be possible, I'll try to get them used to a two year cycle.
