Amorphophallus titanum blüht im Bot. Garten Kiel

in the Botanical Garden in Kiel, a flowering of A.titanum begins to open since the 15th 2012.

You can watch it live via webcam.

The presentation is capable of improvement (see Basel or Bonn), but I they still like to spot visited - again an experience...

to Basel and Bonn only a word - WOW.

Even class and some additional information's to the substrate. Sounds a bit too sterile to me.

It is very important on charcoal powder. This powder is really sterilisierend. After the tornado with the egg shells and he coffee grinder, I take it an ancient meat grinder. One die-cast aluminium. Submit two passes. Thus I pudere always interfaces after separation by offshoots (Musa). The stuff is really sterilisierend.

So for all: A tuber is at incipient decay yet long not lost. We have Yes this forum.
But be careful with the Kaffeeemühle.

Yes, this is the same bulb. She weighed 65 kilograms before flowering. The flower is not yet open, I was there today, but anyway.
You have exhibited also the young, a plant by 2004, one by 2014, the seeds come from a flower in Hannover, dusted with the Kiel pollen.

Actually they had receive pollen, but I don't know whether you have arrived yet.

I was on the road on Wednesday evening in the Botanical Garden.
Because the pollen from Munich at that time was still not there, we wanted to at least try to pollinate with its own pollen from 2014.

On Thursday, then finally post from M - came here the corresponding blog post:
