Forenstruktur

Hello Forum users,.

Yes the request some user was whether I could so not the Forum structure, as it was before, I would like to accept me to the matter.

Since we are indeed a community, I would like to include you as all with.

How would you imagine exactly the structure?

Yes, the proposals that I should structure it again by species came. As I fear, but that generally speaking, all contributions to a kind of (photos, cultivation, propagation, questions,....), for example, then would land in the area of konjak and thus subjects several times would show up.

However a few suggestions as to how we might best structure it makes me.

Another reason was that with the current structure, the posts are found bad, what I do not quite understand, because the search runs in real time and spit out accordingly good results to the search.

Am looking forward to your proposals times.

It doesn't really matter. Generally go into eh always have the latest posts on the threads. I'm looking for something on a particular topic, I use the search, where then the Forum structure doesn't matter.

I think no matter how it's structured will it have always pros and cons. It sums up by type, the same topics in the respective species forums will show up in case of doubt sooner or later. One structured by topics, missing the concrete species reference so that useful tips to a kind of spread may be confused.

Grad again something thought and me the current structure again angekuckt. There is already a subforum for species steckbriefe. If's should remain good, whether is really someone wants to do the work, the current structure, could breathe this subforum yes times more life and useful information about a species, that is distributed across the forum link in the respective profile is another issue, but we are not so far Yes yet.

How about's otherwise generally with a vote, as it should be?

the old structure liked better because the Division told to me by species, but
I can also follow Mr case thought inputs to the Forum structure and can also live with the new Strultur.

Then the subheading "Profiles of individual species Amorphophallus" should possibly in "Amorphophallus species" or similar be renamed (or not...)...

I also usually go about "News" in the Forum.
What but very bothers me here is that only the 5 latest posts are listed and I new posts get with then not all (for me), when more than 5 since my last visit were written once.
In another forum about exotic plants, there is a button "New posts" under the then truly all posts new for me are shown me since my last visit to the personal Anmedung.
Stephen, can you get so little here also?

And the criteria you will find such posts immediately, without having to use the search for it.

the three subitems under the Neuigleiten were struck me already, but I have understood "Unread posts" related to me personally.
That is so significant: "contribution unread by me (the Member point on)"?
