For me, the plants have developed now vary. Most have still your first hand, some also have a second, the times larger and times less have failed. Some of the second hand was before the unfold away gegammelt and again some produce now the third sheet. A plant is now but something out of the frame... it is still the first sheet and sheet 2-5 are now made in one fell swoop. :D I know it not, would but guess that it was one of the plants that had lost their second sheet before deploying.:icon_confused:

update Ende 2013

Dactyliferophile,

some current pictures show why it is so attractive, - the art imitating a bark not only how many other types with the drawing of a leaf stalk, but it is also highly structured at dactylifer.

Mr. Spock would say. "Fascinating!";)

Happy viewing, Bernhard.

Hello

I have my 5 on the 24.ten ordered seeds of A. get dactylifer by the Christmas post wife. The seeds have I placed overnight in 21-27 ° C warm water, the next day removed the last remains of the pulp and put the seeds in a peat Cocos mixture.

The whole thing is in my old enclosure near the heater and has 26-29 ° C and during the night of 21-23 ° C during the day.
3/5 Seeds now show the first signs of germination.

Should I now plug the germinating seeds already in the correct substrate, or should I wait until the first roots form?
@Mr. Titanum: when are the pictures of your plants, or goes the sandwich until December.

Greetings butter:D

Hello ghishing kg-butter,

the images of the petiole is up-to-date, so by the 19.12.2013.

Currently, I have two plants in the growth, one alone, but again driving a white bud.
I think the way even in the rest period in slightly damp substrate and always warm.

I would the seeds start to any together into the final pot "beds around" in a not too small, since then the substrate moisture more evenly.

If the roots are bigger, I'd have concerns that they would break with the germination; so if you want to wait on the roots, I would pikieren the seed, as long as they still < 1 cm.

Happy potting, Bernhard.

Hi, for me you not to be as they. As seedlings, they are always fairly good and then after a long time reading that just go away or have only mini nodules, the just at the store dry up

Hello Stephen,.

I suspect that the type in the (damp) substrate should be kept during the rest period You have ^ trying with or stored all over without substrate or in trochenem substrate?

Happy storing, Bernhard.

Then they rot in damp Moss or dry up there, too. I still have a few.

I had to get a whole carton of full flowering capable tubers directly from the Philippines. Even so large tubers are simply dried.

My declinatus grows better and I keep them in minimal damp Sphagnum moss

How does it look when the old dactylifer off? In the summer, they again driven out?

3 von4 rearing have grown through and got a 2nd all sheet.
One of these 4 pieces moved in may, has made seemingly as summer tuber, and until now the 2nd sheet...

Dactyliferophile,

Once thread to dig out an old...

I had shown once before what looks like my a clone/genotype (BS-53 as the internal number) in post #22. Here are a few recent pictures:

index.php? page = attachment & attachmentID = 3610 index.php? page = attachment & attachmentID = 3611

Is remarkable for the clone that he has at the same time many leaves drifting from a more or less grown together tuber; In addition, the petiole is highly structured and very dark.

A different genotype from the same seed order is, however, very different:

index.php? page = attachment & attachmentID = 3612 index.php? page = attachment & attachmentID = 3613 index.php? page = attachment & attachmentID = 3614 index.php? page = attachment & attachmentID = 3615

The clone is only a sheet that now 6 years after sowing is about 1.8 m high at the plant (clone BS 53 is so far only about half that); In addition, the petiole is brighter (below strongly structured like BS 53, above smooth).

Happy viewing, Bernhard.

P.S.: left behind the plant a paeoniifolius (culture form from Kambotscha, smooth petiole), right of two maxwelii H.AM. 970, far right one prainii. the maxwelii and the prainii I cut it vergilbenden leaf blades...)

dactylifer-fans

today I got my 2 clone dactylifer repotted and found this: index.php? page = attachment & attachmentID 4650 =

index.php? page = attachment & attachmentID = 4651 index.php? page = attachment & attachmentID = 4652 index.php? page = attachment & attachmentID = 4653 index.php? page = attachment & attachmentID = 4654

The bulb has diameter of 14 cm and a weight of 970 g - I hope to have a flower on shoots.

Bemnerkenswert is not only the size of the clone as compared to BS 53 (see above), but also that he makes Cormels apparently until much later.

Happy viewing, Bernhard.

Hi Bernard,.
great bulb!

On Figure 2, the Petiolen of the Dactylifer look all different; is that a single plant?

I pulled even which me from seed; they were all pretty equal in the coloring; not as different as you.
Many greetings
Ortwin

Hi Ortwin,.

If you mean image 2 in post #29, Yes, this is a plant - clone BS-53, which is only half as high as my 2nd clone and its Knolle splits easily and amounts of primary Cormels makes.
The Cancel of Cormels and parts of tuber of BS-53, I have to do but bad experiences; There, already relatively thick tubers are rotted me so I preferably leave the plant alone...

Happy growing, Bernhard.

Ich will hier raus ! ! !

Dactylifer fans,

the Corona times do not pass by my plants without a trace.....

Some time ago - I forgot exactly when this was - I harvested some of my Amorphophallus dactlylifer clone BS 53 when they moved in.
The plan was to offer them at i-bäh, so that what comes in for the payment of the heating costs of my conservatory - so off into a can with slightly damp sphagnum....

Then came the Corona-Kriese and I put my sales plans for this year on hold, as there were always bidders from Italy, France etc.

Today I found the following can on the work table in the conservatory, the lid of which was still tightly closed: index.php?page=Attachment&attachmentID=5835

The lid literally popped up when I pryed the high: index.php?page=Attachment&attachmentID=5836 and I was somewhat surprised what thick leaf stalks came out...

... the arrangement had good roots on all fells: index.php?page=Attachment&attachmentID=5837

Now I'll wait and see if they can get up.... index.php?page=Attachment&attachmentID=5838 index.php?page=Attachment&attachmentID=5839

Happy growing, Bernhard.

Even if they don't stand up properly anymore, the main thing in the pot is something happening.

Hello Bernhard,

So, I would be interested if you have a few dactyliferas too much. Nothing has come of my seeds...

Wait and see how they fare now. But I also think that the tide will rise, or it will drive out a new one.

Greetings Ralf

Hello Bernhard,

Stracciatella seem to like them, with the powerful shoot!
My big longituberosus has a similarly quirky appearance this year, even without a can, she is slowly stretching, so I also think that they will, even if the leaves are perhaps more wrinkled than usual.

Ralf: yes, the plants have almost completely risen and the leaves are unfolding ... :-)
Because of a dactylifer I register at the weekend.....

Michael: Stracciatella from Mövenpick or Langnese is of course much more delicious than that of The Hofer, but for the dactylifer it was enough.... :icon_winkgrin:

Happy growing, Bernhard.
