Hello your dactylifer fans

I ordered some.
Although I have already a plant that goes back to Merlin Sy aka pinoyplants
( Mr. Titanum's collection post #2),
but I'm interested in the variability within the species.

Maybe we all can set once photos, if what strikes us in this respect.

Happy sowing, Bernhard.

This is a good idea. There, we can start then yes a new contribution and then call a time where everyone with the seed germination begins. Would be really interesting, which way is the fastest to Rome:D

Got today an email from Merlin, with the tracking ID somehow not beyond the tracking but philpost. Well you get it:D

Stephan

Hello

I have 3 plants from 2 different sources. I know but none where it comes from "original":D
I have a photo only of the stems (from this year) times. I find it interesting there that the white patches are slightly elevated. So as if it were only a drop of wax (or something similar).

Greeting
Theresa

Hi Theresa,

that the white patches of the petiole drawing are sublime, should worsen with increasing age of the plants or diameter of the petiole, so that the leaf stem surface of the bark of a tree is always similar.
As far as I know, is most pronounced in dactylifer the phenomenon ("three-dimensional bark").
When my so far only about 30 cm tall plant that is only easy to feel but only in the lower part of the petiole.

Happy growing, Bernhard.

Someone gave you already post by Merlin, or we all sit still on dry land?

He has given me but given a tracking number, but the leaves do not track and by philpost, you get no reply to emails.

Hello

I think that it is up to us at customs, because all supplies coming from outside the EU, are handled by the Hauptzollamt Frankfurt/Main.

Come to several million letters per day. Since it may take even a little.

Can only hope that thorough, German customs officials make no theater because of the flesh.
Just when you are mouldy, I'm thought there.

Well wait and drink tea.

MfG
Stephan

Mine arrived today. Or we say what remained left because it was actually just a bunch of non identifiable mold in black.

5 Seeds look like some bulk, but whether that be something written in the stars.

Merlin must leave whatever the bloody pulp it:icon_frown:

dactyliferophile,

Exit stamp 24 September 2011, today at the 18.10.2011 arrived with a sticker of the main customs office Bad Hersfeld - that was the last time the letter not so long on the road, so I recall.
In my 12 seeds in the 10 Pack :-)
Some little mold; two Brown, but I think that are the seeds still in order, because the seeds are solid, not so soft.
Tomorrow will be seeded.

Happy sowing, Bernhard.
